Are we ever going to get the preorders for MNW Bret and Piper? I’m kind of worried now. I need both Bret and Piper, but primarily Bret. As in shipped, or a pre-order going up?

I'm in the UK and I've got series one and two plus the Piper Ultimate.
Two of Series One I got off ebay uk both usa editions from a UK seller, the remaining two from Smyths.
Series Two I bought the full set from Mash Toy Store in Australia and they were usa editions.
Piper Ultimate was bought of ebay UK from a seller in California, USA.

I don’t remember preorders for these going up. They had them for Mankind and Eddie I think, but I don’t trust Walmart with preorders. People just got their RVD or Brock and those are clearance at my stores.

I don't think these are going up for Pre-Order; I had asked Steve about this a few weeks ago in the Q&A Thread: Steve, Thank you for all that you do! We really appreciate your presence here! I'm wondering if you are able to offer any insight or explanation as to why Walmart offered the Monday Night Wars Series 3 and the 2nd Wave of MNW Ultimates online for pre-order - but not Series 1 and 2, and not the Bret Hart / Roddy Piper Ultimates? It's frustrating to collectors that many Walmart stores only seem to receive 2 of each Ultimate figure and they are typically not replenished. Some of us are stressed that we won't be able to find these at retail and be forced to pay high secondary market prices or not buy the Ultimate figures at all. You made recent comments that Walmart was making improvements and I sincerely hope that holds true. Two figures per store just doesn't seem like enough to satisfy collectors - many buy two themselves! Is it a possible consideration to have at least ONE FULL CASE (4) of each Ultimate for Walmart? These should really be available online for collectors to have a fair chance to buy when they are released. I hope that if Walmart will not make these more widely available that Mattel will consider offering them on Mattel Creations or through Ringside Collectibles. Many of your die-hard fans are becoming frustrated trying to track these down. Thank you for listening to us. Those were the waves available when they were ready to roll things out again on dot com. Older product was already allocated for brick and mortar so we can’t go back. Just a timing thing.

That would really suck if some of us missed out on these Ultimates because of this issue. I don’t have a Walmart around me.

Those must have set you back a fair bit The Two Series One off Ebay were £80.00 for both, The Two Series One off Smyths were £40.00 for both, The Four Series Two from Mash Toy Store were roughly £50.00 a piece, the shipping was £24.00 although it was delivered by Parcelforce which involved a 20% customs fee plus the dreaded £12.00 charge. The Piper Ultimate all in was £90.00 from Ebay. Unfortunately in the Ultimates case you will have to overpay, whilst the regular waves are at Smyths so there's that. I was offered a deal by Mash Toy Store but yes I overpaid compared to waiting for Smyths.

With shipping and tax, I just paid 65 for Piper on the secondary market. I’m a loser 🤷♂️.

Anybody in DFW seen any of these, Elites or Ultimates, yet? I’ve been fairly regular in checking 4 separate Walmarts since the shipper started popping up and have only seen:
1 shipper across all those stores, and it was raided by the time I saw it
1 Stone Cold from series 1, fig swapped with a random elite Randy Orton so it wasn’t even the actual figure, just the packaging
1 Roddy Piper Ultimate, which I found by dumb luck on the top shelf of excess stock in the toy aisle. I bought it, obviously.
Walmart is brutal. The least friendly consumer experience ever. I’ve already made peace with the fact I’ve missed out on the first series of Elites, but I really want that Ultimate Bret. I’ve waited for that figure for years.

I found Piper at one of the two Walmarts in Denton, which are both historically awful as far as stocking WWE product, so I’m not even sure where it came from. I wish they’d had a Bret, too. They did have 3 sets of the Maivia Legacy 3 pack, but I’m playing the long game on that one. I stopped by the second Walmart this morning to see if I might score a Bret, but they had nothing except 2 each of Ultimate Angle and Belair + Elite Greatest Hits Typhoon and Earthquake, and get this: a single Mega Powers Miss Elizabeth from the Summerslam wave however many years ago.

My Walmart sucks. Never got a WM shipper, have yet to stock MNW elites or ultimates, just put another case of superstars series 3 out, the whole basic series with Toxic Attraction, and 10-12 ultimates of belair and Angle.

Trying to get anyone to ship to the UK from the USA is becoming very hard indeed for the Ultimate Edition Monday Night War figures.

Trying to get anyone to ship to the UK from the USA is becoming very hard indeed for the Ultimate Edition Monday Night War figures. They aren’t easy to find/obtain. As long as you’re willing to cover all fees/postage, I can’t see anyone declining shipping them. Probably not gonna sell them at retail cost though.
