First time I've ever seen a store do post-orders instead of pre-orders! Absolute madness.

This Walmart nonsense must have you lads frustrated as f*ck. Its even winding me up just reading it. It certainly is super frustrating. What is more frustrating is when I read people's comments that are complaining they received a chase of Harlem Heat instead of regular. At least you received it and a more valuable version of it. Either sell it for more $$, return it, or stfu lol.

Ya I get that part. Just the fact complaining about it is when most of our orders get delayed/cancelled. Like I said either sell it, return it, or stfu lol.

Sigh.
I really really hope the next exclusive walmart line gets a collective "no thanks" from all of us. There will be another line replacing this one. Tell steve no next time. I hope this one ends soon so we can begin to force change. Target is the only store deserving of these exclusives. We dont need walmart and walmart surely doesnt need wwe toys. They will never cut mattel loose even if mattel takes all of their exclusives out of the store. Walmarts needs the hot wheels/matchbox to drive parents to the store. Mattel should hold the cards.

Do you realize how idiotic this statement is? You’re exactly right. Wal Mart doesn’t need WWE toys, they CHOOSE to pay Mattel for them. Mattel is in business to make $ They hope Wal Mart does the right thing getting them out, but if they don’t, oh well. Mattel got paid. And will continue making exclusives for them Go get these things on the secondary market. It’s not like they are Harly Race from Flashbacks 3. Or be patient, they will come eventually, to Wal Mart, Ollie’s or the Greatest Hits line My Series 3 RVD came 3 weeks ago. My Series 3 Rock has gotten bumped 3 times now. And when I see the email, I say that sucks, then move on with my day. It’s not a big deal

It’s not a big deal I hear what your saying and I agree with most of it , but It is a big deal, I can go right now get 3 Monday night war rocks at the one Walmart 53 minutes down the road, but they can’t ship it? I did it yesterday for my brother.

And when I see the email, I say that sucks, then move on with my day. It’s not a big deal For the part time collector who just wants the rock no, but for a long time collector or fan of the nwo with limited funds who cant afford to pay double the price on ebay, yes it is a big deal when you multiply the cost and moreover when that problem persists for numerous years and happens with other lines you collect and WHEN THE CULPRIT IS CONSTANTLY WALMART, than YES IT IS A BIG DEAL. This all affects the image of mattel in the end when we start to notice. Things can only be swept under the rug for so long. And ofcourse walmart chooses to pay mattel. They just dont want to stock these in stores where scalpers resell them and make double, they instead want to make that extra double profit money for themselves. What bettrr way to do that than to create demand by keeping pegs empty and by selling product anonymously online through partners that get product directly from mattel (so they dont have to fill their overflowing warehouses). Who is to say it ever landed in warehouses when walmart could get a kickback for every exclusive a walmart partner sells. Toysrus used to do this as well with their exclusives. You have to look at the big picture. and yes it is also a big deal when an exclusive line shows up 3 months before it is released at retail from supposed 3rd party neutral dealers who just happen to have a mattel license to sell monday night wars and walmart is supposedly ok with that. Not in any world would a business let another company sell their exclusives unless all parties were aware of the situation. Mattel knows monday night wars is not an exclusive and so does walmart. Just wait s2,3 will magicly show up one day in high quantities on ebay from walmart and mattel partners. So no haha i wont get these on the secondary market.

Just wait s2,3 will magicly show up one day in high quantities on ebay from walmart and mattel partners. So no haha i wont get these on the secondary market. Again. Mattel is in this to make money. Wal Mart pays them to make figures If Wal Mart chooses to buy 10,000 cases of Series 3 MNW, and by the time they roll out, decides we don’t want to bother with them, let’s get rid of 5,000 cases to various power sellers or discount outlets That’s their choice Wal Mart holds the cards, not Mattel I’m NOT a casual collector, but I am a grown up, that understands I may not find or easily be able to obtain 100% of figures I want. I want some version of Harlem Heat (don’t care if it’s the chase or regular) but if I can’t get them for $30 each or below. I’ll probably be waiting for the next round to come out or see if these things hit Ollie’s. Not pitch a temper tantrum on a forum and throw out crazy conspiracy theories

I have the solution. Just destroy Wall-Mart. There is a self-destruct sequence in Wal-Mart that you can trigger by breaking a mirror in the back of the store.

Mattel won't stop giving Walmart exclusives for obvious reasons, but it would be good if the WWE team would make a conscious decision to not give Walmart a line that has such obvious adult collector focus.
So no more from the time period of the MNW, or Ruthless Aggression, or in a form of figure that appeals to adult collectors like the Retros and SuperStars, etc.
Instead just give Walmart something focused on the modern fan with no legends involved (something in the vein of the Top Picks line), or a fringe line like the monsters and zombies that are fun but aren't a missing piece in anyone's collection.
Walmart clearly don't care about actually selling the product given the way they stock them, and I doubt the Walmart corporate buyers know someone like Akeem from Asuka so give the collectable lines to a retailer who values them properly and will supply them to customers.

Simple.
Give Walmart "today's superstars" as exclusives.
Give Target and Amazon the "yesterday's superstars" as exclusives
Problem solved.

Ive heard over the years its distribution at WM causing the issues whoch was supposed to be fixed years ago and didn't sooooo.

My March 15th Harlem Heat pre order arrived from Wal Mart today. Up until 2 days ago when I received shipping notification I had zero confidence in the pre order being filled…I stand corrected.
