http://instagram.com/p/C_a-eVlRlnJ The painted sample looks even better than the artwork. I believe the drawing was done prior to the sculpting and such. As stated before, the figure will be closer to the size of the Undertaker Hasbro. This looks fantastic; can’t wait to see the actual figure! But I only wish he had press arms like Hasbro Sid, and wasn’t quite so similar to the Hasbro. Agreed. The only thing I would change are the arms. This is too similar to the Hasbro. I like your ideal of the gorilla press slam arms, those would be perfect.

Yeah, looks great, but too similar. Wish it was a different pose and radically different color combo, wish they'd of gone with that attire with the red.

I’m going to assume (wish?) that they are going to do a red gear one too but I would have went for something totally different than the Hasbro

Yea maybe depending on who else is in the wave/series? I expect 2 Buffs, in red and in black tights. Maybe with the different heads, sunglasses and non-sunglasses

I’m happy with this attire personally - it’s this one and the mania 10 with red instead of purple that I remember best/ am most fond of. And I’m happy with the head, body and legs - just wish it was gorilla press arms. Hasbro crush’s were both big let downs for me - suplex? Wtf?! For me, the press slam figures were some of the best for playability etc when I was a kid. And it was a staple move for crush and almost works for his head vice too!

By that point, Hasbro had begun reusing old parts for all new figures. The Kona Crush figure wore the same attire (tank top and shorts) as Mr. Perfect, so they just reused the Mr. Perfect mold for that figure to save money. Though he wore long tights as Evil Crush, for that figure, it looks like they didn't care and just painted over the legs with the shorts mold. Adam Bomb also got that body mold as well, he also wore the same attire (tank top and shorts). I always felt those two would have been perfect for the Hogan #1 / Sid body mold (gorilla press slam action).

I’d love to see someone use the bear hug pose and change the hands to the gorilla press hands to simulate the head vice. That would be the ideal version of Crush IMHO.

Thats what they said on the Major Podcast. I would rather see a ZST figure use that Hogan bear hug pose just to see how crazy long he can make the arms!

I’ve seen some cool customs that are like that, which look great….i just don’t think they’d be very playable - and it’s all about the playability for me! 😂

It wouldn’t have the feature of course. The arms would move up and down. You’d be able to do lots of moves! LoL

Would be nice to have Scott too though.

Surprise! Guard rails are now in stock: shop.figurecollections.com/http://instagram.com/p/C_0iLUjRNGB For those wondering, there are enough guard rails to go all the way around a Hasbro or retro ring (or Galoob for that matter) AND have an isle way. They don’t just fit around the ring; they were measured so that there would be room for play as well. That way the rails aren’t just hitting up against the tables and stairs. I literally took the tallest Hasbro/retro/indy figures and placed them laying down on the floor with their feet touching the skirt to try and get the best sense of spacing around the ring.

@chair.Shot - can you give us any hints on the mystery in stock drop? Will this be someone that many of us have been requesting for years/missing piece to the timeline, or is it a ancillary character/someone who isn't highly demanded but will be very toyetic? And if you can say nothing all good. Looking forward to seeing it along with the Patriot. Wish it was a stars/stripes Bagwell but really hope that version also gets made as a galoob. http://instagram.com/p/C_0iLUjRNGB For those wondering, there are enough guard rails to go all the way around a Hasbro or retro ring (or Galoob for that matter) AND have an isle way. westhejobroni - Unfortunately I cannot say much about it as it is not my place but I wish I could! It isn’t something that I want to overhype to anyone; I’m just personally pleased with it and excited to see it released. I really hope other figure collectors will be too! I’m proud of the work that went into it and feel privileged to have played a role in making a wrestling figure. It is literally a dream come true for me. I don’t know when it will be officially announced but it will probably be released sooner than you think.

I’ll probably grab a set of the guardrails next time they get a new figure in. Hopefully by then I’ll have a spot to set them up. It’s def a cool idea, I would have LOVED them as a kid.

My guess is Battle Kat for the mystery figure.
