The Buff and Patriot preorders dropped this morning are nice looking, but I am very era specific with Hasbros and retro figures, so a pass for me. I thought I read that they were going to fix the Patriots elbow? Maybe they just used an old photo on the website? |

FC is doing good things but I’m hesitant to do another pre-order when I have so many already - just with FC I’m waiting on FC’s Vlad, Epic’s DDP and Epic’s series 3.

Understandable. The latest I’ve heard on Vlad is that he should be arriving by the end of the month.
DDP is getting a QC check from Epic before they give the green light for him to be released to customers.
Similarly, Wrestling Megastars Series 3 should be arriving fairly soon to Epic HQ where they will need a QC check before they sign off. It’s still looking like that’ll be before Christmas but it’s an unfortunate delay. I would rather wait longer in this case and have a figure that is good instead of being left with that feeling of bait and switch. Good on Epic for seeing color issues and correcting them instead of saying “it’s good enough; let’s just get it over with.”

Good on Epic for seeing color issues and correcting them instead of saying “it’s good enough; let’s just get it over with.” that's because Epic actually have an interest in producing quality goods for the consumer, and not accepting whatever they receive from the factory and shipping it out with an excuse like "Well that was my plan all along"
I'm disappointed with the Patriot figure - why have those clown feet still not been addressed? people raised this a number of times, and it's fallen on deaf ears. what is the point of trying to help a company produce a better quality figure with constructive feedback, if the company is just going to produce whatever they've received from the factory, and not work to resolve basic issues?

Are there any more loose pics of the Patriot? I've only seen this one:  I'm so torn. I have fond memories of watching Patriot debut in GWF running home after school. Didn't even know it was the old Sportatorium at the time. He was such a cool gimmick and North American champion. Would love to own him, but I kinda wish he was based off of the Sid Justice build...this Macho Man build seems a bit small for Del no? |

I'm starting to think we will not be getting a Stars and Stripes 2 pack. What a giant miss if true!
I'll be getting both figures and variants, but man what a disappointment and missed opportunity.

Ordered the set. Like a couple others mentioned, I think they could have done better on Patriot's legs, they look weird, not sure why they're not the usual one knee out one in stance like all Hasbros were that had that mechanism. But, don't know when another Patriot retro would be made, so need him for my 97' WWF collection.
Hope we get a 97 era Buff at some point as that would have really been my preferred era over the later era WCW look.

although to your point, why haven't FC revealed final figure images for both figures yet? the figures are clearly at the point where Jack could produce decent images of them, and share them via official social media sources and the most obvious place - the ACTUAL WEBSITES THAT WE'RE ORDERING FROM

I learned alot from the Chella/Epic Haku desaster. I have decided to skip whatever looks poor. Look at all those G&Gs and WSW figures. Most of them do not look good and will not fill a gab but rather leave one. If I display that Patriot it would always be a placeholder for a good figure. There’s no reason to do so. Better have none and enjoy a good figure when finally available. Or just leave the spot blank. |

I’m waiting for the retro guardrails to be available I’m pretty sure it was delayed due to that port issue. Things were held up for longer than expected in Hawaii and I’m not sure if even FC has gotten what they are owed from FedEx. |
