Bonus research: I found the photo for sale on a popular auction website: THIS AUCTION IS FOR AN ORIGINAL VINTAGE COLOR SLIDE OF WRESTLING SUPERSTAR MIKE AWESOME POSED BACKSTAGE IN CHICAGO WITH HIS NEWLY WON ECW TITLE. THIS PHOTO WAS USED IN THE UK's POWERSLAM MAGAZINE. I WAS THE LONGEST TENURED PHOTOGRAPHER FOR THE MAGAZINE. I WORKED FOR THE MAGAZINE FOR OVER 20 YEARS. POWERSLAM WAS THE LONGEST RUNNING WRESTLING MAGAZINE IN THE UK. THIS SLIDE HAS THE ORIGINAL MARKINGS ON THE SLIDE BY THE EDITOR OF POWERSLAM FINDLAY MARTIN. POWERSLAM WENT OUT OF BUSINESS A FEW YEARS AGO AFTER 238 ISSUES AND IT TOOK FINDLAY ALMOST A YEAR TO RETURN ALL MY ORIGINAL SLIDES AND PRINTS. I ALSO HAVE ORIGINAL TYPE 1 PHOTOS THAT WERE USED IN THE MAGAZINE ALSO AVAILABLE FOR SALE. MESSAGE ME WITH ANY REQUESTS. Ninety-nine percent of images being sold on eBay these days are done in workshops and at home. These images carry very little value. INVEST in PSA-graded TYPE 1 photographs of your favorite stars! Majority of these photos are one-of-a-kind items that came from magazine and newspaper archives. Once sold, that's it, you're probably not going to see them again! He’s shown off renders of the MOCs now, I find it incredibly lame that the Mike Awesome art has him with a belt when the figure won’t actually come with one. Right! This is almost as bad as Hercules not coming with a chain even though the print art on the back of the box had a chain. I sometimes try to match the figure with the box, so now I have to find someone to make me a custom belt. The arms are terrible, but I am part of the problem because I buy them anyway.

Im not sure what rules or criteria you have for displaying figures with belts but you could get away with using the unpainted ECW World title from Jakks. That’s literally all the card art is (but with removing the color and blurring/darkening the details).

Jeez, if you’re just gonna photoshop a pic, why pick one with a belt?
And yea, I’ll be getting them all eventually too

Ordered all of Series 4 but Mike Awesome. Really want him, but looking at the final product I’m not in a rush. Maybe Epic or the others will take a shot at him
Epics Flair will be better I’m sure, but I buy any and all Flairs. Abby, Bad News and Tajiri look great IMO
Now the long wait until they arrive 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️

First time I'm passing entirely on a Zombie set, at least for the preorder. When in stock, maybe I'll consider Abby incase we ever get enough WCW guys that I could do an early 90's WCW shelf.
But rest are an easy pass. I have a custom Bad News made by Sedgewick that I like, and I'm not doing ECW. Plus the Mattel Flair wasn't bad and if Epic is going to do one too, and I'm sure it'll be better than either.

I'll pass von Series 4 completely (for now) Abby looks cool, but doesn't fit into what i'm collecting. Flair would fit, but I don't like the idea of bloodied figures.
And Bad News, was one of those figures I couldn't wait to be done, but the end-product just looks goofy to me. Hopefully one of the other companies, will do Bad News more justice

Abby is a great move, but the arms are a massive let down, I'd have collected Abby to go in my extreme/Japanese corner but I'm skipping him, hopefully FC/Epic or even G+G pick him up because ZST's not done good here
and Bad News, easy pass. would have been great if the arms weren't doing his best Dhalsim impersonation

Bruce Lee might be a household name but I feel like Ash from AoD/Evil Dead will do as good or maybe better in sales. The crossover between 80’s/90’s wrestling fans and horror movie fans is fairly significant. Bruce Campbell (Ash) has an extensive fanbase and is pretty well-liked by people. I met him years ago and he was a class act and a funny dude. I’ve read 1-2 of his books which were wacky but entertaining…but do I need a figure of him? No, not really. But like I said, I hope this pulls in more licenses. I would love to see Hasbro-like figure of Terminator, Nightmare on Elm Street, Forrest Gump, Ghostbusters, Fifth Element, Back to the Future, Trading Places, Coming to America, Hook, Ernest, Home Alone, IT, Christmas Vacation, Princess Bride, Never Ending Story, Escape From New York, Big Money Hustlas, Friday the 13th, Universal Monsters, etc.

But I still would love to see those other movies get this style of figure from any company (except Rush, obviously).

But I have never heard of Ash, never heard of Bruce Campbell (or don't recognise him based off the artwork here) and never heard of the Army of Darkness movie (I have heard of Evil Dead but not seen it). So I cannot get on board with it doing better than Bruce Lee unless Campbell himself is buying most of them to sell at cons. This is a head scratcher.

I am not a huge fan of his but he has a huge following here with people in my age group at least. Maybe for people not in USA he is not known but here he definitely is. The figure looks great too. I won't buy it and I dont know if people who would buy it have any idea what ZST is but whatever. I would bet my life that a lot more people know who Bruce Campbell is than know who Kurt Fuller is.

ZST is promoting a shipping of January/February which is 14-22 weeks away.
Series 1 spent 10 weeks on water. Series 2 spent 12 weeks 4 days on water.
We should expect the traditional “leaving the factory” post between Halloween and Xmas for Series 4. Based on how quick that sound I will stick with the August 2025 prediction.

Hasbro style Ash figure. Unreal. I probably wont get many of the movie line but Bruce Campbell is my favorite. That's amazing.

Yeah after doing a bit research and seeing some reaction on socials, I'll concede that I'm probably in the minority here.

That Ash is cool, but still a pass for me. Just ordered Tajiri from the new set. Damn these figures are expensive.
