I can’t answer with any degree of certainty but their presence is nothing short of impressive. Their YouTube channel hit over 100k sometime ago and not all of those viewers are podcast subscribers. The Facebook group (1.7k) has a large mix of people but not everyone is a hardcore collector. Cardona has over 2 million followers on X, Myers has nearly 400k, and their Instagram followers aren’t too far behind those numbers either. You may not want to collect everything they have made of themselves but there is something for everyone regardless of what types of things you collect. I’ve been tempted by a number of their items but they haven’t really fit into my collecting rules. Though Cardona might have breached one of those rules with his recent Mall of America show.

F1rst Wrestling has been a fun promotion to follow. It’s a very welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of PWG (but less pretentious). There are some booking decisions that are total head scratchers but I’m sure some of that is circumstantial and not entirely the fault of Arik Canon. My biggest complaint is not announcing matches before some shows or selling out in advance for Wrestlepalooza and stacking the deck for one night with big names and then doing a below average card on the other night.

For the Mall of American shows, the first one was incredible! A little surreal and felt kind of magical!

The second one felt poorly booked…it had a handful of independent names but it really lacked star power. There weren’t any big time legends who appeared on the show. These things need a wide range of appeal and the second show there fell short.

This latest show - the third annual - was much closer to the first show. The crowd felt like the biggest they had drawn. It was generally a good atmosphere and fun action. They could have used another legend on the show even if they were only doing something quick on the mic or acting as a ref. That would have brought it to the next level.

If you do get a chance to go, I highly recommend the Golden Circle seats. If those aren’t available, I would opt for standing room on levels 2-3. Floor seats after the first few rows aren’t really worth it. Standing for 3-6 hours also kind of sucks but it’s a fun experience once the show gets going.

Could be just to get more bang for his buck out of those molds… especially since the first time they were used the figure came in an expensive two pack and thus might not have sold as many unit and thus been less profitable. But as to why he keeps making cardona figs in general, he’s popular and they probably sell pretty decently. In addition, it might have been contractually stipulated that he’d have certain number of different figures made. ZST probably had to make him a sweet deal simply because of his influence.
