Ordered one of the inferior but still available variant too. Obe is totally enough for my collection and I kind of like the variant. Hasbro also had weird choices sometimes. Looking forward to adding this character to my display.

Picked up mine from the PO box today, looks pretty good, at least for the first release from a new company. I have Max Moon on order too, so look forward to seeing how he turns out. Also, happened to pick up some milk at the store before getting home, and later made me think it was a funny cooincidence....I mean, do you think a Mantaur would give blue milk?  |

Got my Mantaur yesterday, it’s good. The sculpt of the legs are kinda weird but overall I’m happy with it

Mantaur:
Bulky bubble is a bad look. The tape on the back of the card is irritating and makes reading what’s on the card difficult. Now the figure? It drastically exceeds my expectations. I’m not knocking the other lines but it feels more sturdy than all the retros I’ve held besides for ZST.

Got the inferior variant today.
Box was beaten up and the card got a small crease. Doesn’t matter however as it will go into the loose collection anyway. That big mask just ruins the whole figure on card.
The figure itself however is surprisingly good. Well done KWK, not a bad start!

I just got around to ordering PN News…it was difficult to decide which to get, as I think the orange looks cooler but the blue harks back to the unreleased galoob.
I settled on the orange, thinking that the new galoob lines will likely do the blue attire and I’ll pick up one of them.
It seemed pretty expensive, at £57.45 shipped to U.K. - I suppose that’s just because there’s no U.K. based distributor. And I guess I may have missed a cheaper ore order window too? 🤷🏻♂️
But I think I’ll be happy to add it to my collection; strangely, when I think of early 90s WCW, it’s Van Hammer, PN News and Johnny B Badd who come to mind!

He had a deal with Rock and Roll collectibles that fell through for whatever reason. The figures were 40$ at preorder so he’s put a bit of a premium on now.
I didn’t order News but I have Mantaur which I like, but would say it’s more Chaparo like than Hasbro as it lacks that “sheen”.

These all miss the mark for me. I still might buy tjp and maybe even taka but I really wish he’d just skip to series 3 |
