So explain the DM box set. It's 4 figures vs 3 figures. On initial release it was 115 dollars for the 4 pack, I know because I bought the first wave. That's ~29 dollars per figure for 4 figures. The Foley is ~33 which is 5 dollars difference per figure, however is 2 dollars down vs a regular single release. It costs more for the 3 pack because it cost more to put 3 figures into limited production than putting 4 in. These factories have minimums and the overall price per item goes down the more you purchase. Therefore a set of 3 figures is going to cost more to put in to production than the set that is 4, it's also why the single releases cost more than the multi packs do on average. This is basic business sense, I'm as anti-ringside as it gets and they do a lot of things I don't like, but this is ridiculous. I think there's an unnecessary cost added to the boxset due to it being single or multi. Just make it a boxset without the need for singular packaging. Also I know what your saying about about the 4 vs 3 in production, but I don't think the cost justifies for almost an entire figure purchase. The difference is not as wide as people seem.

I think the price is just RSC charging extra. I don’t think it has anything to do with production or packaging. They always charge more for RSC Exclusives.

$100 for three Elites is too much. Exclusive or not.
The accessories are nice but nothing too over the top or special.
Great figures and Mick is my fav so I'll get them all.
But $100 is too much.

Can we get his arms fixed too? Those Cena arms are awful.
The mold Jakks gave his WCW Cactus era figure were perfect, I wish Mattel had an equivalent .

Hmmm... so the figures WON'T be available/sold individually? No they still will be sold individually but if you buy the 3 pack then you get the box set. ...I'm confused, lol. Isn't that the same as before?

No. The original set of 3 would have been shipped together (maybe in a windowless box like the 4 RSC Defining Moments), but Foley requested/ demanded that they create a "Three Faces of Foley" boxset where all three are facing front so he can sign all three. It is supposedly going to be a long horizontal box.

Jeez just cancel your order then. This is how RSC runs their business. If you don’t like it then you can cancel your order for a refund. No one forced you to buy it. All of their exclusives are overpriced. Their AEW exclusives are $35+ for single figures too. You can always wait it out and wait for a sale to see the price go down. I’m not disagreeing that they are expensive, but like someone else explained, it’s a lower run and not sold at a department store. Also, the price was $100 even before Foley complained and they decided to make the box set for the three pack. The box set didn’t raise the price. It’s just how RSC prices their exclusives. I'm going back and forth, I already have the 3 ogs. But if my post bothers you, there's 4 corners in a room that you can cry in! No but seriously going off your argument the 4 pack RSE defining moments is cheaper and was more appropriately priced at 27.99 per fig, instead of this 3 pack at 33.99 per Foley. They both are limited runs. But you're complaining about something that can be easily fixed and something that no one forced you to do. You don't want them to air ship and you have a problem with their pricing, but that is how RSC is deciding to runt heir business. You knew what the price of the figures were before you put in the order. It is on you for ordering at a price you are not happy with. You could have waited for a sale as all of these figures eventually go down some amount. I have no explanation as to why the DM were $27.99 and these are $33.99 (maybe as someone said a set of three is a smaller run than a set of four?), but like I said, the AEW exclusives are around $35 and, again, RSC can charge whatever they want for their own exclusives. The price may be outrageous, but you don't have to buy it.

I am allowed to buy something regardless of me not liking the price. For $100, if mankind had a cloth shirt, my mouth would be shut about the whole thing. They went all out just to miss the mark.

It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to criticize but then buy them anyway. To make a real change you wouldnt buy the figures and show the demand isn’t there for that price. Buying them at that price point shows that they priced it right.

I don’t like the price of groceries or gas but I still have to eat and drive. Comparing necessities of every day life to action figures makes perfect sense. It’s still a fair comparison nonetheless. There are certain groceries I don’t like the price of, that I don’t need but want, that I still purchase sometimes. Like chips, I don’t need chips, I want them. $4-$5 for a bag is ridiculous, but I still pay that when I get them, because I want them. All groceries are not necessary, especially not junk food.

So are you going up to the counter and complaining constantly about your chips being overpriced? I don’t think so. You buy them and move on. You may not be happy that it is that high, but you’re making an internal decision to buy them or not buy them. You could have easily put them down, just like this guy could have chosen to cancel his order. If you’re that unhappy with the price, you don’t buy it. You’re obviously deciding that $4 for a bag of chips is still reasonable enough, and the same happened here. You don’t show that you’re unhappy with something’s price by buying it. That’s counterintuitive. Now, gas and real food you may be unhappy with the price but you’re forced to buy them to live. Thats what I originally thought you were talking about and that wouldn’t relate to action figures at all. But silly me for not realizing how loose your connection would be.

I hope they make Dude's shirt look better in the meantime. That newer print style they use that goes directly on the fabric looks blurry and almost bootleg-like. He also looks a little too skinny. The other improvements are great.
