2005 was a good year tbh, some great matches & moments. What's the match of the year for you guys? Name 5,10 15 etc if you can't name one only...
I'm going with HBK vs Angle at WM21, what a classic. I'd say its one of the best WM matches ever, a legit dream match.
Team RAW vs Team SD
Rumble match
Edge vs HBK
Elimination Chamber match
Eddie vs Rey (all of em)
Batista vs HHH HIAC
Taker vs Orton HIAC
Edge vs Benoit Last Man Standing
Hardy vs Edge Steel Cage
All of those were bangers

Shawn Michaels vs Angle at WrestleMania and the one that followed it spring to my mind here. I also loved the Hell in a Cell match that Batista and Triple H had. I also cannot forget the hilarity that was Shawn Michaels vs Hulk Hogan!

I'd say there is maybe only one match from the entire year that could be discussed as a "greatest of all-time" bout, so I think the answer HAS to be HBK Vs Angle at WM21.

Yep Angle really beat the crap outta HBK lol, & the way HBK sold it was amazing. I thought Angle was gonna win it all but it was nice to see em end it at 1-1. I wouldn't have minded if they had a 4th match with either guy winning and ending the feud on second thoughts tbh. |
