Distribution is hit or miss, but you can find most figures online e.g. Amazon, Target, Walmart, RSC. Walmart is the store that worries me the most , but I feel they have improved. The problem is people don’t want to be patient and throw fits when they can’t find figures right away. There is always going to be one offs like this set, but it is what it is. feel Mattel is doing a great job. My only complaint is that I want to see more elites from the “Golden Era”. However, it’s a great time to be a wrestling fan and collector! i was thinking...do we know if legends greatest hits is just a one-off? i don't mean this particular set, we know this one is. but is it perhaps a test to see how a once or twice a year type set performs? obviously it'll sell out the way they're distributing it so i guess its hard to gauge sales of it. but maybe they'll switch it up later on? somewhere between a one and done and full re-stocking. i'm probably totally wrong, but its a slight bit of positive thought amongst the rest of the doom and gloom |

What are you guys using to look up stock? Brickseek and Popfindr isn’t showing me anything, unless I am screwing it up. I live 45 mins each way to my closest Target so don’t want to go unless I can check first. Any help would be very much appreciated.

As far as i am concerned everyone who works in the wwe mattel is complicit. Distrubtion has been pretty awful, combined with all these situations that just happen to pop up.  Ok since your taking up for the whole wwe mattel team. Prove me wrong, make me eat my own words. Who is not doing there job of getting wwe figures to retail. Mattel or Walmart/Target ? Who is more to blame ? Why do walmart and target stores go 3,4,5 months without getting new wwe figures of any kind ? Whos decision was it to make these new target legends greatest hits in store only ? |

the problem is store distribution
Mattel can’t help if stores over order, have the shelves packed with warmers, and don’t order new things for months
Mattel can’t help if stores under order, leave the shelves empty, and don’t order new things for months
it’s not Mattel’s fault that stores have poor distribution because of poor store management

A friend found bulldog and honky for me today. I'm happy with my elite 41 funk and don't care for warrior. So glad I don't have to deal with target til the next legends set now.

This morning, a local Target showed having 4 in stock of each figure according to Popfindr. I checked a few times throughout the work day out of curiosity, and the numbers started going down. After work I popped in after seeing that they were down to one each. They weren’t on the shelf and after asking an employee for help, she insisted that they were street dated and no one could bring them out for sale until Sunday. She then directed me to the wrestling section and said “maybe look in there to find them.” 🤨😵💫 Try another day I suppose!

thep1Let me be clear because i bet the mods are about to step in. I did not name call anyone. I stated facts, which have been reinforced by other forum members. Distribution of wwe figures at walmart and target stores has really been awful, especially at walmart. Target might not be selling main line elites anymore, thats not a good thing right ?? Then its one debacle after another with wwe figures not getting to stores. You would think that exclusives to walmart and target stores should be a lot easier, since they are competing with literally no one else. You would think that and you would be wrong. Its almost 2024 and a toy company can not handle getting toys to retail. Wwe Mattel figures are really good toys that you can never find at retail.

Use common sense - Steve isn't going to put blame on the company he works for or one of the clients of the company that he works for. Not sure why you are even asking that. Some people on here really want Mattel employees (that interact on here and social media in their free time) to get fired or in trouble just because they feel that they are entitled to every decision that goes on behind close doors. For your last question, I'm sure it was Target that wanted them in store only since exclusives drive foot traffic and it is marketing 101 that if you get people in the store looking for exclusives, that they will buy other items while they are there. Sure, you might have a Karen or Maren that swears up and down that they aren't going to buy anything if they don't find them, but most people do pick up something else while they are there (or you just wasted money on gas/transportation). Since these are rereleases and the last couple of Legends sets (before Legends 20) had large quantities discounted - maybe Target wants to see how well these do before increasing production if they carry another set next year. If they do well, maybe they will also be available online next year. Regardless, the decision has been made to be in store only - I'm not sure why it matters. |

I would also recommend calling Target Guest Service(s) at the front desk as I had this really nice woman talk to me & confirm they were there & they would be put out later that day or the next day. However, I took another chance at the Target I was at the day before where the employee literally let me take a photo of the info from her scanner & like I said, there was the whole thing, untouched & set out from probably the night shift. Just call & be polite as this has worked for me every single time.
Still in a tad bit of disbelief that i got them all with (2 British bulldogs).

Found the whole set on my lunch break yesterday in Frederick Maryland. 2 Warriors, 2 Funks, 3 HTM and 1 Bulldog were left. I really hope everyone can track these down!

Found the set yesterday. I noticed Warrior doesn’t come with extra hands. Is this the first figure to not come with extra hands since they started doing that?

Not seeing the improvement on Bulldog. I specifically think the face looks worse on the new one. Glad people who need it have a shot, but I'm sticking with the OG on that one.
