Hi all. Newbie here! I grew up watching men's wrestling and as a female, I wasn't interested in watching the divas. But I absolutely loved Lita!
I was just wondering who your favourite female wrestler was (for whatever reason 😉)

She was punished for being cheated on, then exiled for showing the scars. Chyna was treated very badly. It was such a shame how her career ended. I did find Jericho's comments interesting though. He said she wasn't as great a wrestler as people thought. She was very stiff and the other person had to work hard to sell her moves. Found that surprising |

The McMahons have a lot to answer for. Except I doubt it will ever happen. Having said that, they did say they couldn't induct her in the HoF due to her work in the adult industry. Still no reason to erase her from history in most places. |

People may laugh at this but honestly, it’s Becky Lynch. Her ring work and promos have always been excellent and most people pop for her. I’d say even though she’s been forced upon us too much Charlotte is in a close second. Between them they have taken women’s wrestling to a whole other level.
Yes I know they wouldn’t be where they are without people like Trish, Chyna, Lita and those before them even breaking new ground etc… but Lynch, Charlotte and others like Asuka, Baker etc… they’ve taken it further.

Charlotte flair and nia jax ? Oh and betty from the shops. Ryback has had world title matches,main evented ppvs, the FACT is ryback was alot of things, including popular. Especially when he wanted fed. You are young and your are caught in a fad. But like it or not...Chyna is a far....far better candidate for the title of this thread. Here are some facts to remind you of yester year junior .. 1.intercontinental champion 2.mens royal rumble entrant 3.founding member of the most popular faction in wwe history. Also, here are some further candidates who deserve the title of "best of all time" before rhea ripley... 1. mae young 2. The fabulous mulah 3. Trish stratus 4. lita 5. Wendi richter 6. Molly holly 7. Charlotte flair 8. Not becky lynch. She bothers me. 9. Luna (bam bams main squeeze i hear) 10. Alundra blaze You are confusing "BEST OF AAAALLLLL TIME" with... "Rhea ripley has been doing great the past year or so." She was nobody special until edge brought her into judgement day. Now she is amazing,and maybe one day she will be the best of all time. OKay i can tell you I am older or just as old as you. I mean u only just discovered this forum....
But had solid points, also still using Ryback as your best comparison shows how young you may be, but here goes.
Yes she hasn't been in it long but in the short time she has:
- she has Royal Rumble records for 1st women to win from #1 and last the longest
- she has won all the women's titles they have (except NXT women tag)
"oh but those things were not around back then.
Also are we doing stats wise or like human wise rankings? bc her record is clean atm.

1. mae young - (5.91) good and ground breaking but hardly #1
2. The fabulous mulah - (5.85) and please!!!! she was a horrible human being at average wrestler at best
3. Trish stratus - (8.88) famous for her TNA initially, was not good at the start
4. lita - (8.39) I have no problem here she was also grounbreaking
5. Wendi richter (6.85) Was cool in the Hulk Hogan cartoon
6. Molly holly - (7.71) I always liked her but never saw her doing moonsaults
7. Charlotte flair - (7.9) the only one I think you have mistakenly ranked here
8. Not becky lynch. She bothers me. - N/A
9. Luna (bam bams main squeeze i hear) - No way, she was more entertaining than athletic

Ripley is currently (8.41) and in only a fraction of these girls careers, you are right, the best is yet to come. but she has always been special.

Yeah Chyna broke a lot of records but no one ever says "yo what about that banger Chyna put on!" as opposed to say Rhea and Charlotte...
Aside from Becky and Trish in your rankings there are literally NO Japanese (or international) girls there.... as an older fan I recommend you try and expand your options to more wrestling and then get back to the debate. There are more worlds besides WWE out there.
One thing we can agree on it is hard to come up with one or a mount rushmore here...

You do understand that wrestling isnt real and accomplishments are handed to them by management? When we say best wrestler of all time, we are talking about everything from entertainment to athletic abilities to mic skills, and of course, looks. Its all in one package. Also, nobody cares about the japanese talent, nobody. Just you. They all suck. |

I have a friend who insists whoever has the most titles is the best wrestler because they only get a title by proving themselves. I don't agree, as some wrestlers have been given titles that were undeserved.

Been watching since '91, Charlotte Flair is the most complete I've seen. I think Rhea will be mentioned one day as one of the best, and some of the talent in AEW have potential.
