I remember that blue Hogan shirt from this merchandise catalog  Ha! Yes, I think that’s where I saw it! Mine was lighter in color. A bit more turquoise. I thought it was a pretty cool take on the logo. But it never caught on. |

I think I ordered my first ever WWF shirt out of that catalog. The purple Macho Man shirt. I still have it. Anyway, another Hogan logo that never caught on...Hulkasized!   |

I think I ordered my first ever WWF shirt out of that catalog. The purple Macho Man shirt. I still have it. Anyway, another Hogan logo that never caught on...Hulkasized! Hulkasized didn’t deserve to catch on! 😅 So the purple Macho Man was your first wrestling shirt? Nice. Mine was one I had made in one of those t-shirt places in a mall. It was a black t-shirt with AMERICAN MADE on the front. My first official one was a classic yellow HULKAMANIA I got in the old Boston Garden upon seeing Hogan live the first time back in 1984. That was tremendous. Absolutely awesome. |

Hogan is my top “I’ll buy as many as they’ll make” figure, but my very top want is a circa 1991 Ultimate Edition Python Power Hogan with an alternate Hulking Up head - wet hair, eyes bulging, and cheeks puffed out.
I am also highly in favor of re-releasing any Hogan that didn’t get the hot dog tan. They just don’t look right.
At the same time, I really don’t have any need for modern era Hogans. I prefer to remember my childhood heroes in their prime.

I'm not gonna lie, if they made him from The Nanny in a tutu, I might break my "No Hogans" vow.
But outside of that, the only one I might ever possibly buy is Pirate Hogan, and even that is unlikely.
