We now have several small independent companies making retro/Hasbro-style figures. Zombiesailor, Epic, Hasttel and more.
What figures are you hoping to be made?
I don't think that Mattel did a good job with Diesel so that is a figure I hope to see sometime in the future.
There is also a few wrestlers that got a Hasbro-fig that is in need of a new figure too. Someone like The model Rick Martel. He's Hasbro looks too plain. I would like a version with purple trunks, soft goods jacket with a pin and arrogance spray accessory.
Owen Hart in his king of harts outfit (will not happen but one can always dream right...).
Zombie is making r'n'r express so Heavenly bodies would be a nice addition to the tag team division.
Both Demolition and Powers of pain are on the way from Epic so a Mr. Fuji in a suit would be a good fit for them! And a kimono variant would go well with Yokozuna!

Beverley Brothers would be great, I think they are the only wrestlers from several different ppvs in 91-92 without a hasbro or a retro announced? Other tag teams like the Heavenly Bodies, Well Dunn, Blu Brothers, Strike Force, Brain Busters.
Singles wrestlers wise, Bob Backlund would be great, Owen Hart would be fantastic, but like you said I think that’s not realistic unfortunately. Others pretty high up on my list would be Sparky Plugg, Waylon Mercy, Kwang, Tito Santana pre matador, Kama, Damien Demento, Barbarian singles attire, Johnny Polo, Mr Fuji, Sensational Sherri, Elizabeth, Battle Kat, Colonel Mustapha, Zeus. Basically anyone from the golden or new generation era.

I always wanted managers and announcers with my Hasbros, so I’d love to see Mr. Fuji, Slick, and Jesse Ventura.
Of the ones Mattel could probably do, I’d love to see Vince McMahon, Gorilla Monsoon, Howard Finkel, Hillbilly Jim, and an Executive Consultant Mr. Perfect.
I’m not sure who has the rights, but the Genius is a no-brainer, both in wrestling gear and his cap and gown.

I was never really interested in them, but I can see the appeal. For me, I'm probably gonna echo a lot of people in saying that I'd like to see an Owen Hart, but I dunno if that's possible or not, surely something can be worked out. A better Doink than the one Mattel put out, Surfer Sting, Kwang, Ultimate Warrior, Lex Luger (Total Package) LA Park, Ultimo Dragon, Sasuki, Taka Michinoku, Ricky Choshu, Kenta Kobashi, Atlantis, Vampiro, the Patriot, Diamond Studd, Ricky Morton, Great Muta... I could go on! |

I vote for Lance Cassidy with removable leather jacket... I remember him beating Barry Hardy and Doink putting the "kick me" sign on the back of his jacket. |
