The only matches I see happening at WrestleMania 40 are. Roman Reigns Vs. Cody Rhodes II Rhea Ripley Vs. Becky Lynch I’d say we will see LA Knight vs Logan Paul Santos vs Rey Damian Priest vs Finn Jimmy vs Jey Yeah,I say these 6 matches are almost a guarantee at this point unless Escobar and Rey wraps up before then. I would guess Seth would get a returning Punk or a new signee in either MJF or Will,if none of those comes in the company you would think him and Gunther would be the logical option. The tag titles and SD women's title are difficult to even think who the champs will be by Mania,I'm hoping by then they split the tag titles back up and we get teams like Pretty Deadly,Creeds or DIY carrying them into Mania I don't think Orton has a snowball chance in hell getting the main event spot against Roman at Mania but I would love to see him be Cody first feud after(hopefully) he dethrones Roman. |

Ortons not facing Reigns. If you think Reigns is facing anyone other than Cody, you havent been paying attention weekly.
I could see Orton going one of two ways. Could see Orton vs. Seth for the World Title or Orton vs. Cena if they're heading towards a Cena retirement match.
My guess is the card looks something like this
Roman(C) vs. Cody - WWE Universal Title
Seth(C) vs. Orton - World Title
Gunther vs. Brock (Maybe Gunther drops title before Mania? Running out of viable challengers to drop the belt to)
Jimmy vs. Jey (maybe add a No Holds Barred stip?)
Rhea(C) vs. Becky - Womens World Title
Charlotte(C) vs. Bianca - Womens WWE Title (aint no way Iyo is making it to Mania)
Logan Paul(C) vs. LA Knight - US Title
McIntyre(C) vs. Sheamus - IC Title? (Maybe Drew wins the IC title, Sheamus finally becomes grand slam champion)
Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor
Santos Escobar vs. Rey Mysterio (maybe make it an LWO lumberjack match or something and have them all turn on Rey at the end)

What kind of donkey-brained fantasy booking is this? Let's just pretend for 2 seconds this isn't a troll post(which if you were in the All Elite safe space part of the forums, it would have been deleted by now). In what world do you live in where you want that 2013 main event booking? Randy is GOAT status but he doesn't need a championship at this point. I'm more irritated I share a birthday with OP than I do this post. Very naive. Orton still has venom in his veins. |

Cody eventually beating Orton for the title(s) would be a very interesting story but I think they are definitely going to go with Cody Vs Reigns II.

I mean, they did a great job at that obliteration, holy crap, they should teach classes on how to put the titles on your top tag team and then somehow, someway, have them keep them for five months and STILL managed to destroy all their momentum, enrage the guys holding the belts, and turn the fans on the concept of them as a tag team entirely. I feel like there's an essay or three to be written here. I might even know just the person to write it... |

They both deserve better but since they left the bloodline story they've been an afterthought in booking, especially KO since moving to SD. They seem to have no long term plan for either of them at the moment. Ive said it for years, WWE's biggest problem is being able to make a main event star and then keep them there. |
