The fact that B-Fab also sold out almost immediately and it looks like Tiffany Straton may sell out within 24 hours.
What is HAPPENING?
This feels like the action figure equivalent of a bank run. Those first couple figures were hard to come by, now I swear people are buying these FTIL women 10-20 at a time just to put on ebay. It's NUTS.

Probably a combination of factors:
- Less stock being ordered as female figures sit too long and end up on discount
- People also going "I'll never see these" so justify buying them at a premium up front
- People who collect niche - there's a subset who'll just get women figures or FTIL figures - they ain't getting other things so will drop coin to collect their priority
- Who knows if they'll get another figure? We get plenty of Becky, Charlotte, Bianca but this may be that character's only figure
- And of course, FOMO - with AEW moving to making females as chase figures, people automatically feel like they're gonna miss out if they don't strike

Gigi and Jacy went straight away on most sites over here. Ended up on Smyths and The Entertainer, discounted - but I missed Gigi, and ended up paying over the odds for her on Amazon. Was never interested in Jacy, Alliyah and Daba Kato.

None of this explains why they're not on ebay - flippers would be flipping if they were ever available (in large quantities). They've not hit retailers en masse. There was another thread speculating they could be lost at sea. I think the latest thread question was why the quick Ringside sellouts of newer basic females like B-Fab and Stratton. Given recent waves have been very spotty at retail, Ringside sellouts are now questioned and speculated on.
So I think the problem is they are out there in such low numbers for whatever reason (Ringside not wanting to be stuck with basics, so not getting as much, retail shipping containers caught at sea, sunk in the ocean or backlogged somewhere in a distribution point behind other waves and will someday appear). Hard to scalp what can't be found at retail, and what little hits Ringside is snapped up by those who need their scratch and sniff fix.

Does anyone have a basic 140 chase ciampa to sell??? If so DM me plz! I found 1 B140 Ciampa and it was the chase (trunks) but it’s not for sale. And I can’t believe between 3 Walmart and 4 Targets I hit fairly regularly I haven’t been able to find another Ciampa (Regular or chase) |

Azeez was an immediate sellout on pre-order, I grabbed the set of basic 137 as it had 4 out 5 I wanted. Aliyah lingered for a while. Gigi and Jacy were part of a popular NXT group Toxic Attraction, featured regularly on TV and Premium live events, but went on back order immediately. Looks like any of the first time in the line guys are becoming more popular LA Knight, and Ludwig Kaiser, except a few Reggie, Xia Li, Top Dolla, Asahante Thee Adonis. Was hoping to get B-Fab hopeful for a damaged package to go up.
Some of the updates are a bit scarce Ciampa, Cody Rhodes, Austin Theory. Need to see what happens with the updated Dominik Mysterio, and Karrion Kross

Ty for this, just wish they stocked two weeks ago before I burned a bunch of gas "doing christmas shopping". These were part of a big retailer promotion that was cancelled they will make there way out over time I'm kind of curious about this, because I feel like basics are slowly leaving retail over time. Where exactly where they planning this one? Is 138 just completely lost? I've at least seen scraps of 137 at a few desolate Walmarts (I figure the distribution center I live near got 139-141 instead) |
