Cena in the red, circa 2012(?) This. I remember my Toys R Us drowning in Basics, Extreme Rules PPV series, Battle Packs w/R-Truth, Best of Series, etc in them after doing an autograph signing there plus 2 Elites (one with shirt, another without). There was also a K-Mart Exclusive where he had a red Raw shirt. |

This one. I think the only difference is the missing chest logo. But to me that qualifies the same attire.  And to some degree so does the one with the white knee pads and the face paint only being the logo on his cheek  That first one looks to be a custom swapping parts from the elite onto the basic for some reason. I honestly don’t recall swapping the parts. And I don’t buy secondary market figures. I have turned basic Warriors into Elites. But I don’t think I did the opposite. And If I had I would think I would have an elite version of the bottom figure which I don’t see on my shelves. So if I swapped the parts I don’t remember doing it. I thought it was part of a KMart or Walmart line. (They say the mind is the second thing to go when you get old, but I don’t remember the first. lol) |

WM12 HBK has 3 Entrance greats with knee pads and gear but it's basic. The WM elite, with no pads and no gear. The battle pack with the crapty basics. We need a definitive 4th as an ultimate, with (better) gear, with kneepads, and a couple heads. I just want an Attitude Era DX Shawn in Ultimate form, with a face scan that actually looks like Shawn Michaels 😢 |

I just edited the other post saying that if I had turned an elite into a basic then I should have an elite version of the bottom one. But I don’t see it on any of my shelves. I guess it could be in a bin, but Warrior is one of about 5 wrestlers I try to display all their figures of. I don’t know. lol |

I mean, hogan easily. Same red and yellow combo. Sure, headband shirt or heads might be different but the attire - yellow trunks and red knee pads.

Yeah but with Hogan and Cena it’s the shirts and accessories that differentiate them. I don’t consider him with a Hulk Rules shirt the same as him with the red Hulkamania shirt even tho trunks and boots are the same. That’s at least how I personally see it. Like him with the war bonet I didn’t think to myself that we already got this figure before. |

If there are differences that clearly distinguish it from other releases like a shirt, a specific accessory, a slight deco variation, or sometimes a head sculpt then I wouldn’t consider it the same. Like RR91 Warrior has clearly been released 5 times. Debut Undertaker without question has been released a minimum 3 times by my count. But guys like modern Brock, Roman, Cena, yellow trunks Hogan, etc. for the most part you can determine these are supposed to represent something different than the ones that came before it.
