This popped into my head earlier while watching some Invasion Era WWF. I don't think Chris Benoit and Lance Storm ever had a match together. I did some digging on Cagematch and nothing came up.
It does make sense. By the time Storm made it to ECW, Benoit had been in WCW for years. When Storm went to WCW, Benoit had just moved to the WWF a few months before. They were both in the same company during the Invasion Era, but Benoit was out with a neck injury and wouldn't return until mid-2002 as part of the RAW brand. Storm was on Smackdown originally. They switched brands later in 2002, and then Benoit moved to RAW after the Royal Rumble in 2004. Storm retired from full time competition in early 2004, and to my knowledge only had one more match in WWE after that.
TLDR; Chris Benoit and Lance Storm never had a match together in any company and it got me curious about other guys that realistically could have had matches but for whatever reason didn't.

Verne Gagne vs. John Cena
Crazy that those two never did business, especially the day after Wrestlemania 22 on Raw, when Verne just got inducted into the HOF two nights earlier and Cena had retained the WWE Title.
Imagine the pop from the crowd if Verne Gagne pinned Cena on Raw to win the WWE Title that night on Raw!

The Undertaker and Razor Ramon.
I am sure they crossed paths on the house show loop back in the day and they did have a match from late 1992 on the Smack 'Em Whack 'Em VHS, but just crazy how these two never had a high-profile feud in the four years they were in the WWF.

They were never destined to cross paths. By the time Roman has truly established himself, Hogan could barely walk let alone get in the ring. |

We could've had The Shield Vs The nWo at WM30 instead of Kane & The Outlaws. They got physical the following year with DX so they could've had a short and safe match with The Shield. |

Nah the nWo guys couldn't do jack. Just look at WM 31. Nash got hurt from running & Hall took the last bump of his career. Hogan hasn't been able to take a bump since 2011. And hasn't been able to take multiple bumps since 2007. |
