I'll buy Austin & Hogan.... but I'm a little worried that we're promoting Series 2..... has anyone seen Series 1 yet? They are not easy to find in stores but seem pretty widely available on ebay. After seeing series 2 yesterday and liking the direction of the series, I ordered the whole series 1 today because they seem to be disappearing pretty fast. Well what the heck..... where are we supposed to get these figures? It's like they make figures and new lines, but have no idea or plan where they'll be sold I can't even find main-line Elites in any store around here. |

Like the idea of this line.
Got me thinking could have real fun with it
Do it with IC champs (classic belt, oval belt, ‘big’ / new belt design)
Do it with wcw (another good chance to get the Ron Simmons era belt in a line along with big gold style)
Hall of champions was a line which had so much promise but ended too quick imo

Got me thinking could have real fun with it Do it with IC champs (classic belt, oval belt, ‘big’ / new belt design) Do it with wcw (another good chance to get the Ron Simmons era belt in a line along with big gold style) Hall of champions was a line which had so much promise but ended too quick imo The two first lines kinda give us an idea what route they're taking with this line. It looks like they are picking most popular titles with wrestlers mostly associated with them. If there won't be much repetition with current main titles the line could get really deep historically. I would love to see Bruno with his title, Ric Flair with big gold belt, Ultimate Warrior with the old IC title or Demon Balor with the NXT belt. |

Syxx with an accurate head with goatee and cruiser belt would be great for this line. X-Pac with an accurate head with goatee and Light Heavyweight Championship Title Belt would be great for this line. |

What i find really funny is Bill years ago said he was fighting to keep the articulation in basics like 5 plus years ago. Then a few years later mattel finally did it, and made basic worse. Now a few more years later not only did they reverse course, they have made basics better. So even with a recession and inflation they made basics almost elite and the price is about the same. To top it all off they are adding belts in 2-packs and these basic/core figures. So i think its safe to say either basic and 2-pack sales flatlined so much they had to take action, or we where mislead, or both. |

They seem to be the only retailer that doesnt want mainlines so all sublines go to them. It also seems to be a good indication of which lines will die. I just hope they move the superstars to creations first before walmart cancels new orders. These basic champions are a good idea but i still dont understand why they needed to create a subline for it. They could just release them sporatically in the main basics line and use these champions as anchors for each wave. I swear mattel makes things more complicated for themselves than it needs to be. |
