Andre in blue trunks/boots with long hair and short hair heads is a must. No swappable hair…Last time they tried that with Andre, it was awful.
Pair him with either Studd (with proper heel red/black robe), Albano, or Heenan.

I’d want him with Studd personally. This would be a good next set after Hart Foundation to me, if they can’t/won’t surprise us with Savage, Gang, Hercules, Bulldogs, Demolition or Powers of Pain. |

Steamboat & Muraco Santana & Valentine I’d definitely buy these, but I don’t think Santana is an option any more, and not sure he or Valentine would be considered anchors. Steamboat maybe? |

LOD wasn’t LJN-era, and Steve has suggested plans to stick with people from the original line and/or almost-LJN lost wave (Smash, Barbarian, Brother Love, Bushwhackers). But if this line ever really takes off, who knows what’s possible? |

This is my favorite line, but I’m a little disappointed in the Harts. Anvils torso doesn’t really represent how he looked, and of course the Bret sculpts. The figs represent 85-87 the sculpts look like they were modeled after 90 or later. Bret also wore silver wingtips a lot during these LJN years. Would have been a nice touch. Holding out hope we can get Mania 2 or any other 85-87 Harts in the legends line at some point.

I was trying to do it as feuds. And Santana vs Valentine had a great series of matches for the Intercontinental championship back in the day. Same with Steamboat and Muraco they had a fun series of matches in the Mid 80’s. I see the connections, just not sure Mattel would see them as marketable enough, especially with both feuds being prior to the rock ‘n wrestling boom period. |
