Super curious to see how that would work out. well usually one of the heels starts lightening up and playing a bit baby face while the other heel acts like especially bad so they can get some type of heat with the match Which matches were those? Sorry, I remember very specific matches like Sting vs Triple and Lesnar vs Reigns for 32. K5 that's what I was thinking too, someone kind of has to be somewhat liked or play a bit of baby face. I can't remember a match in specific where both guys were universally booed or disliked. Come to think of it wasn't Reigns vs Seth a heel vs heel? When Seth did the whole Shield thing? alanpartridge I have to revisit that feud. I didn't tune into the product too much during that period. |

GreyHaze:Big Bad Booty Daddy Matches I had in mind weren't booked Heel v Heel, but neither competitor had real fan support. Lesnar-Reigns at 34, dead atmosphere. Triple H-Reigns at 32, Hunter got some pops despite his authoritative suit persona but the plodding, deliberate pace kept him and the match in general from building momentum that would've hyped up the crowd.

I said it in the RAW thread, if it’s the plan I will do everything I can to be front row or at least close. My top 2 all time so it’s my Holy Grail of dream matches. That said, as long as Punk wrestles at Wrestlemania, I’m going to be more than happy. Regardless of who he faces. One of the biggest dream matches tbh |

This would’ve been great during Punk’s SES days. Now, I don’t care for the idea. Plus, Austin at WM38 needed Kevin Owens to fly and bump around for him and keep everything on track. I don’t know if the old, tired, hurt, broken down, falls over trying to do moves version of CM Punk is that guy. I’d rather them not bother if it’s going to be like Undertaker vs Goldberg. 2010-2013 was the best time for it to happen |

No thanks. Punk being back in the WWE does nothing for me. Forget the backstage issues he just had in AEW the guy was majorly injury prone in his time there. At this point in his career I honestly see him being injured by WM.

I'd kinda rather see a WHAT? and YEAH! showdown between Knight and Austin than him having a match with anyone. His match with KO was a great sendoff and don't want them to ruin that trying to capture lightning in a bottle. If it works and they do great together then I'll gladly eat my words of course. Austin & LA Knight in the ring is a must |

It wouldn't work. It would have to be a carbon copy of last year with Owens. A heel that makes fun of Austin that results in a no DQ style match because Austin obviously can't work a proper match. Punk isn't turning heel anytime soon either. If he was only gone six months to a year then sure. Lets just leave nostalgia at the door. Very good points but never say never |

I am excited to have Punk back in the WWE and will always love Austin, but have zero interest in seeing them have any kind of a match. |

Austin/KO was pretty much the best send off match that Austin could’ve possibly of had at his age so I have no interest in seeing Austin/Punk since that.
