I opened the Road Warriors last night. They feel nice but you can tell immediately that they are too “big.” I think the lower leg piece between the knee and the boots is what really adds extra height. The legs are also a weird black two-tone of glossy and matte black which looks odd. Head sculpts are nice and the paint job seems fine. Not sure I’ll be ordering more though, I’d rather get the Powertown All Stars

Got my road warriors in and unboxed them, pretty solid figures, but they went back in the box for now. I’m only complete on superstars series 1-3 and macho man. I’m kind of out because my main focus is the 6-7” figures. Still great figures to add and happy to finally have them in my collection in some way

I got mine as well.
My Road Warrior Animal's leg was a little loosey goosey, so I think I am going to keep them MOC for the time being. I do like them though - I think they have a spot in today's market. I am considering picking up a a select few from the next series rather than the entire wave and will probably continue to do that moving forward.

Have they ever provided updates on series 2?
I was just messing with my series 1 the other day to make them a little shorter and more in scale with MOTU/Superstars and wouldn’t hate a Black Tiger or Paul Orndorff

I have seen and heard zero. Starting to wonder if they lost their butt in the first series.

At least Orndorff now kinda looks like Orndorff…. I really liked series one except for the scale being so much bigger than the superstars line.

Are the upper arms on backwards? Whats supposed to be biceps looks more like triceps.

Someone asked the same thing in the comments and Asylum confirmed your suspicions: “they are..factory made the samples wrong but we wanted to show something since the wait has been absurdly long. they will be on the proper side when they are mass produced” Credit to them for being honest and willing to post proof of an update even though it meant things looking wrong.

the factories are making errors, and yet these 'companies' are only showing either early prototypes (resins etc) or they're showing faulty samples
the Quality Control must be zero to nil for most of these companies, until they receive their shipments - why are factories not picking up and remediating these basic fundamentals during their initial QC checks, rather than shipping samples off for checking?
or are these companies cutting their costs by not having any QC controls? which was evident with some figures where they've been received and sent/sold to customers to "fulfil their order" rather than "getting things right in the first place"

All companies will face delays. We will to. But I question what factories this company is using and/or are they responding the factory quickly? This delay is unreal. We get early prototyles in weeks.

Id much rather have errors like this take place during the early production stage than at mass production. Which still tends up happening anyway...right now theres a Super 7 deluxe Lion-O in Target stores with its arms assembled incorrectly. In 2 separate instances, I've recieved Neca figures with 2 right arms. And Mattel's MOTU classics line is well known for having these sort of issues as well. This could be an instance of the factory sending pics of the figures incorrectly assembled and Asylum opting to post them on social media instead of waiting for the factory to send pics of the figures assembled correctly. And if it did take an unusually long time to get these shots, i can understand them just going with what they have and posting a disclaimer. Not a big deal i dont think...
