I believe David Benoit does, I'm surprised he hasn't licensed him out already considering how many options there are other than Mattel right now.

This was my same thought process. The kid wants to even wrestle using his father's name and theme. Such a great theme too btw, I'm also surprised he hasn't tried to have any figures made yet. Would love to see it happen.

Dynamite Kid, though he may have had the potential to, didn’t actually murder his wife and child. No toymaker is going to entertain the idea of a Chris Benoit toy. For every weirdo sociopath that would consider buying such a thing, there’d be hundreds of sane people that would no longer do business with that company.

Dynamite had a reputation for being a pretty miserable person throughout his life, but his situation is nothing compared to Benoit. Even for an independent toy manufacturer, making action figures for profit of a guy who murdered his family might be too hot of a subject to touch.

I definitely feel for his son, but there is a fine line between remembering his career as a pro wrestler and exploiting the terrible things he did for money.

Wont hear any argument from me, they're all bad people or at least did bad things but we've all got at least one figure of some detestable wrestlers. I can see why people wouldn't want the figure made, obviously I want the figure but I'm not going to devote my life to getting one made you know. I can understand why companies don't want to touch him and I'm fine with that

Taking “ethics” out of it, there are absolutely people who would not want their name and brand associated with one of the most infamous crimes of the last two decades. Same way former NFL players wouldn’t want their jersey hanging next to OJ’s to avoid the association.

Yes, there have been plenty of terrible people in wrestling. However, I think those of us sometimes inside the wrestling bubble tend to equate them all as the same, separate the wrestler from the “real person”, etc. I’m not saying that’s “wrong” nor am I judging anyone who wants a figure of him, whatever not my place. But I think those people are sometimes blind to the fact that to the greater world, the name “Benoit” is in the same category of infamy OJ Simpson, Chapman, Hinkley, etc.

Im sure there are plenty of people that wouldn't want their name associated with Benoit at this point, hell probably most. I just don't think people inside or outside of wrestling are going to take having the same brand of merch as an endorsement or absolvement of what he did. Possible Im wrong, it's possible what Benoit did is just that many degrees worse than what anybody else in wrestling did. I feel like the bad PR of signing with a company that associated themselves with Benoit is a much bigger deterrent than having figures next to his but Im not fully convinced it would be a huge deal.

I wasn't trying to get this off topic by any means as I completely understand both sides of the spectrum to which Benoit falls. Just hoping this won't get locked for bringing it up.

So back on topic I wouldn't mind a two pack of Austin and Bret from their infamous match. Maybe a bloody head scan as an extra piece for Austin.

Too bad we can't get Sting or Jericho as Sting with worn face paint from the match could be a great addition as an extra head or Jericho when he was undisputed champ would have some cool items. Although it seems we've seen plenty of WWF circle titles and big golds recently.

Maybe a two pack of elite Steiners in their original tag gear wouldn't be bad with soft goods leather jackets as accessories. That or LOD would be my biggest wants that are actually possible.

I've been saying they should do that Bret and Austin set for a while now, I feel like the bloody heads alone will help sell those sets and since they aren't on retail shelves they aren't as risky. I'd probably buy 2
