I don’t know him personally, but maaaaannnn I’d really have a hard time coming up with something negative to say about Kyle. Seems like a great guy. Produces a ton of content. Appears to love the community and hobby.
It’s also wild that the people that don’t like him have no problem stating it so loudly on a thread he’s actually participating in. You’d think people would have the tact to maybe just not say anything?? Jeesh.

I was once a huge fan of the guy and watched almost every video he posted concerning wrestling figures, GI Joe, Star Wars and Neca, but as more and more viewers piled up, it felt like his attitude changed. It felt like he was becoming more and more full of himself and lost a lot of his regular guy vibe. Then he started pushing his book before every video started and the Todd McFarlane on the couch crap... I fail to see the point of making believe one of the greatest comic book artists, if not THE greatest, of all time was sitting on a couch in his basement. Plus, I hate hearing some older rock star give me a "One to Grow On" psa moment about crossing the street, Jerry Reed singing the Smokey and the Bandit theme, and Jesse Ventura going conspiracy theory crazy ten times in every video! Again, no hate for the guy, I just don't need the name dropping and book infomercial. I don't care if you are good friends with some old school drummer or singer... or that some imaginary toy manufacturer and comic creator is sitting on your couch. Just review the figures and quit living in the past of a bunch of concerts you saw and pointing out how you yelled at one show and got a response from some band member. I feel this thread has gotten a little off track with turning to Kyle love or hate... Plus, I am afraid another thread being mostly about one person might add to the inflation of an already overinflated ego, so I am seeing my way out of this one. Let's just get back to what this is supposed to be about, a SDCC exclusive WWE figure, or figures, and not someone dropping a line about how they already know what it is but aren't going to talk about it. |
