I would like to mix up my displays more often throughout the year, and possibly invest in some more/new cabinets. I don’t put enough effort into displaying my stuff, but I’m optimistic that can change at any time. Maybe 2024 will be the year I free up some totes and get to enjoying my figures the way I’ve always dreamed of doing. Fingers crossed all of our resolutions come true. 🤞 Sounds like we're in the same boat. I didn't list it as one of my resolutions but my entire collection is currently in storage at my parents place in my old room and for the last four years since I moved out with my gf, I've just been buying figures and putting them away. We're moving soon and I can't wait to display my stuff. I bought two Billy bookcases from Ikea and have some Lack shelves already. I plan to assemble the ring that came with the New Gen crowdfund finally, as well as the entrance, the RAW entrance from the 3-pack, and maybe a little AEW display as I just picked up JR, Excalibur, Schiavone and the announcers pack from RSC. |

Mine is to completely sell off every aew figure I own and probably sell off some of the 2013 through current roster elites as well which I'm still on the fence with selling them but the aew's definitely has to go no matter what I could careless about them anymore :scratches neck: You got any of them Punk/MJF Dog Collar packs? |

I’ve been buying less and less Mattels over the years. I still complete UEs and plan on doing that through end of 2024, but we’ll see.
I’m all but out on elites - this isn’t meant to be a “poor me”, but with so many US retail exclusives it’s extremely expensive for international collectors to really keep it all up. Add in the sheer volume of reissues which for me drives down the collectability of the line (don’t at me about value, when us international collectors have to overcome so many additional costs) there just isn’t the fun factor when the figures show up. When something isn’t fun, I stop doing it. Chasing exclusive store elites wasn’t fun so I stopped. That said, excited for series 2 of RSC DM, RSC Foley and the 3 pack of Hogan.
I plan on adding some more MOC Hasbro, keep hunting for sealed console wrestling games (about 6 also to go) and I might just add my first sealed Wrestling VHS. I also plan on diving deeper into the 3rd party lines, after Epic Toys POP and Demoliton blew me away when they arrived.
Looking forward to another great year of collecting.

but seriously--my figure related resolution is to remember to stay in my lane and collect only specific lines. i have dedicated myself to mattel wwe, jazwares aew and hasbro Star Wars Black series. this past year i branched out into buying the Indiana Jones Adventure series line and i felt like that was really pushing my wallet for practical spending. i caught myself looking at popeye? and tekken? figures the other day and had a little come to jesus meeting with myself and was like 'dude....what are you doin'. it can even feel like a stretch collecting the three lines i do currently, im really getting cramped for space in my den.
as much joy as figure collecting REALLY does bring me, i have a bunch of other hobbies and interests that are more valuable to my own growth as a person. figure collecting is just something i do for ME specifically i dont have personal friends or relatives into collection that i can show off too or i dont ever buy a figure to flex or anything i typically just buy what i like and maybe find others to enjoy it with. the thing with figures is that--i find the world and my life to be so fast paced at times i often forget about these core things i love and that never fail to bring me some type of joy. having figures is a big help in reminding me of these things, thats how i go a little overboard at times because i do value having these physical representations of things i love around me.

Buy less. I think Mattel moving to no legends in the main UE line has me pretty much checking out if that unless it's a must have.
The next Retros and CC are passes for me too, so I can be more selective going forward if I'm no longer a completist.
Thanks fully the MNW series looks right up my street otherwise I wouldn't be spending much this year.

I think I want to completely sell off my aew collection for starters . Second , I will be more picky and patient when it comes to buying figures. For example , I jumped the gun on buying the 105 dom , and shortly after a better and more accurate one was revealed.

Somewhat negative but I want to sell most of my collection and just concentrate on a few lines. Coliseum Collection and Retros (from various companies incl Mattel) I don’t think that’s negative, I know a video game collector who dons a lot to concentrate on specifics and was much happier with his collection after I also think collecting certain lines or having a more curated collection is more interesting snd impressive than just collecting everything 👍 |

My floor “arena” is just littered with figures, need to dust. Need to put hands in acid free bags so the paint doesn’t deteriorate, need to organize the hands, and do a complete setup I’m satisfied with!

-Be a little more proactive in buying figures I really want. Not buying more really, but jumping on something I want quicker instead of assuming it’s going to hang around on RSC. Been burned a couple of times by figures selling out.
-Open things in a timely manner. I had a stack of figures collecting dust that I finally just opened along with the ones my wife got me for Christmas. At some point it becomes a waste to just have them sitting there.
-Rearrange my displays. I need to totally rethink my Micro Brawlers set-up as they’re currently out of control, and my Mattel and Jazwares shelves definitely have space that can be better utilized. Might be time to abandon stands for Mattel figures entirely as well.

I’ve got to get rid of a lot of duplicates I’ve bought, as well as older MOC figures that have seen massive upgrades (such as E 14 Big Boss Man to E 90 or Legends 3 Bulldog to Greatest Hits).
