andre throwing himself out in 89
twin towers tossing hogan in 89
andre tossing warlord immediately in 90
demo tossin andre in 90
lod tossin undertaker in 91
sid tossin hulk in 92
flair/hulk dumpin sid in 92
four people elimanating mr perfect in 93 (really wanted him to hang on, and then win it all)
gonzales tossin Taker in 93
micheals tossin yoko, vader, & diesel in 96 (i kno vince had a crush in him, but man that was frustrating to watch)
austin tossin bret, vader, & taker in 97 was pretty shocking
mcmahon elimnating austin 99
undertaker tossin the hardy boys in 02
undertaker eliminated by maven in 02

Easily it's Hogan in the 1989 Rumble!
I feel that entire Rumble could have been greater than what it is if some things had changed.
1. Studd and Andre should have had a meeting in the ring, they kept them as far away from each other as they could
2. Demolition and Powers of Pain worked some spots and perhaps lead to eliminating each other somehow
3. If Hulk Hogan had won the freaking event!
I watched this event just a week ago and when Hogan got eliminated, the entire arena just went quiet. It sucked the air out of the arena. Not even Brutus Beefcake of Big John Studd could save the last 1/4 of that Rumble match.
I feel Studd winning it would have been a bigger deal if Hogan had not even been in the match.

Also, after just watching the 1994 Rumble, I gotta say it was quite surprising that Owen only last like a minute in the Rumble. You would think to help build him up he could have gotten a good run in the Rumble.

Probably Sid eliminating Hogan. At that point, it always felt like Hogan was going to win. Still boggles my mind all these yrs later how they had Hogan pull on Sid's arm which would lead to the Natich win. Like he was thrown out fair and square. Just made em look like a big sore loser... How the hell was Sid the heel in this situation??!!! |

After Sid is eliminated, Hogan climbs back in and chases Flair out of the ring, then Sid comes up behind Hogan and shoves him. Now Sid kind of looks like the sore loser, he was focusing on Hogan and not Flair and it cost him, now he's blaming Hogan. |

Have that moment where the buzzer goes off and nobody comes out, they show him all smiles thinking its Bret and the reason he no showed is all because of him. Shawn eliminating Yoko & Vader in '96. Tell tale sign of a rocket strapped to your ass when all 200 lbs of you soaking wet can throw out two super heavyweights at the same time.
Bryan being eliminated so early in '15 is up there for me
Undertaker/Shawn being eliminated halfway through '08 Rumble was rather shocking
Shawn being eliminated first in the '03 Rumble
Maven eliminating Taker in '02

Have the camera show Owen's reaction, maybe a scared one. He starts attacking Bret as he enters the ring, goes to clothesline Bret out of the ring and Bret dips his shoulder and out goes Owen to a huge pop. |

Heenan tried to tell everyone Hogan was the villain...lol
My all time favorite is Kane choke slamming Sabu through the table in 2007. Not necessarily shocking or surprising.
Maven eliminating Taker in 2002 probably shocked me the most. 12 year old me was a Taker fan so I was wide eyed for sure.

Austin going out in 2002. I felt sure we were gonna get Austin vs Jericho @wm18. Man did the air get sucked out of the building when he was eliminated. To this day it surprises me...crowd wanted Austin.
