It was fun & entertaining but it didn't feel like a proper Rumble. The ring barely filled & the whole match felt like it was split into different sections. Despite Austin being over I'm glad he didn't win. We were in a new era and we needed something different. Austin winning would've been repetitive as hell. It also took me a long time to take him seriously again after the Invasion stuff, it was hard to buy him as a face again. I just didn't enjoy Austin in 2002. Triple H winning was expected and cool. After years of him being a heel it felt unique and different that he was now the good guy. HHH winning was a nice change but that crowd loved Austin man

Didnt quite enjoy it as 00/01 but it's still a good Rumble match. Perfect returning was a great moment.Loved how he was in the final 3 Vince/Naitch was a fun match as well. Really enjoyed that feud 01 was just too special for me

The Hurricane was robbed! What’s up with dat?! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I did a little research and I know what happened. From what I was able to dig up from that great reporter Gregory Helms at that moment when he grabbed both Austin and Triple H by the throats everyone felt there was history in the making and everyone tried to capture the moment on their cameras. Well, because there were so many pictures being taken at that moment (they estimated 75% more than usual) Hurricane was blinded for that split second and in that moment just loosened his grip on their throats just the slightest bit. Thus giving Austin and Triple H that split second they needed to foil what was to be the greatest moment in Royal Rumble history.
