Hey, not that anyone here is overly fond of basics, but for anyone out there waiting on a Ludwig or Tiffany, my "Early-January" order with Tiffany and my two Sami's shipped today. Got my notification around 8pm eastern time.
Not sure what this means for any of the items that are stuck in limbo from Mid-December, but it gives me some hope that they will ship before too too much longer.
ETA: Out of just random interest, considering they are already listed as in stock on RSC, have we ever gotten examples of where a wave of figures comes in stock and we still haven't seen final, carded images of a single one? Because it's wild that the wave (or what isn't sold out of it) is in stock and they still only have the placeholder image for the case shipment because carded images never actually hit. It feels really weird to have figures on their way to me that I still don't know what they're gonna look like.

I got my Ludwig Kaiser figure today. Really great figure it came out awesome! Missed out on Tiffany unfortunately,but hope to see her back in stock soon

Why was the chase Ludwig never up for pre-order??? In the past haven’t they said it’s because they aren’t sure how many they are going to get? I swear I’ve seen an instance of them talking about a chase not going up? |

Please stop buying stop buying price-gouged basics 😀 they're $10-12 MSRP now. This is literally why I didn't buy Ludwig this week. I was about to FOMO order him and Gunther (knowing that Vinci was already gone and I would only have one to try and get off secondary) but I'm nont paying 30 bucks for a basic of a character I'm not particularly fond of. But Tiffany i needed because I'm a women's completionist. I'm still mad about B-Fab. I'll pay the 30 bucks for a basic Tiffany now rather than 70 bucks when she hits retail and I'm getting her off secondary. That said, I don't think I've seen a basic in stores for 10 bucks in ages. And frankly, getting figures in store at all here is far too difficult. We have ONE store that sells wrestling figures. ONE. It's either pay the elevated RSC prices or risk not getting them. I've tried shopping other sites and I keep getting burned. Either not in stock, even more overpriced, or the order gets cancelled. RSC is about my only hope. I am at their mercy. |

Got my basics! 2 Ludwigs, no chase but great figure & better than the renders. Tiffany! Again, great figure, very happy & better than the the render. Gunther. Love it. Shoulders not as high in the renders & slimmer overall. I will happily keep paying the prices for great basics.

One thing i just noticed about my Tiffany, if anyone else has one, please check and let me know lol
Mine has the 2023 Mattel with some other numbers and made in China across her mid back lol

Someone has a Tiffany on eBay for $105 lol, insane how the distribution problem with basics last year has caused them to skyrocket in price, hopefully distribution will be better this year
