From one hot start with him arguably being the 2nd top babyface behind Hogan to being cooled way down after Mania IV until his departure that Summer
I can see em once again being in the main event of SSeries on team Mega Powers replacing either Koko or Hillbilly. By 89 maybe take a chance with a monster heel turn to freshen up his character.
What say you humanoids?

Hogan vs Bam Bam would have made a hell of an awesome house show loop.

Ah Bam Bam "what if" talk...love it. My main focus would be rebooking his 1995 but I would love to see him turning heel and joining up with Slick.
Bam Bam Bigelow Big Boss Man Akeem
Triangle of Terror!!!

Bam Bam Bigelow Big Boss Man Akeem Triangle of Terror!!! I'd run him against Gang at SSlam with him losing then in the Fall you can do the turn where he walks out on Humperdink and joins up with Slick and company.Ol' ''cant beat em, join em'' type deal

Some well meaning interference from some face costs him the match & he loses it

Like the triangle of terror idea. With Hogan and Savage on top in 88, he would have been a good fit in the heel camp.
With his tattoos and colourful attire he could have been a good opponent for the Warrior in 88. Reliable in the ring and could have a great match with the proverbial broomstick, he would have produced some great matches with Hellwig and set him up nicely for his run with Rick Rude.

Hard to picture him staying in 1989. The WWF was stacked with talent, can't see where he would fit in.

A feud with Hogan post WM V wouldve been ideal. Cool off the Savage feud for a bit until the Summer and give Bam Bam a big time push during the Spring

They can still do it. Just have Bammer attack em post match Have em call em out for a few weeks bad mouthing em about their past and such then have the big attack after the cage match

There is an Inside Wrestling magazine that talked about Bam Bam Bigelow being a threat to Hogan in 1987.
It seemed the writers of the Stanley Weston magazines felt Bigelow was coming in as a heel into the WWF to challenge Hogan. Probably because he was a heel in Memphis and Texas and everywhere else he worked.
So being a big time baby face and teaming with Hogan was a huge twist. I still wonder if they did that because Vince already had the One Man Gang who kind of had that same look as Bigelow with tattoos on the head and the full body outfit.

Kind of looks like they were going to set Bigelow up as the friend of Hogan who turns on him later. He was teaming with Hogan a lot in late 1987 and early 1988, they were usually facing Andre and DiBiase.

Bam Bam had no right being a babyface in that era. He was over for sure, but the money back then would've come from him as a nasty heel feuding with Hogan which I'm sure they would have gotten around to had he stuck around.
At the very least, I heard Andre loved him. 😁
