I used to enjoy Summerslam more than Wrestlemania, but the Staples Center Summerslams from 2009-2014 killed my enthusiasm for the PPV.

1994 is a very impressive number, I was all in on Bret vs Owen and I was very interested to see what the hell they were going to do with two Undertakers.
The Highway To Hell theme for 1998 was badass, I loved that music video they would show as a promo in the runup to the PPV.

Would be interesting to see the buyrates by PPV for the Monday Night Wars era. I'm sure some shows on both sides were hurt because fans ordered the other companies PPVs that month. I know we couldn't order every PPV, I had to pick and choose carefully.
