Just make a cloth shirt, no velcro, fhats already like 2/3 ripped then we can have normal shirt for posing and a ripped shirt for posing.
I appreciate the idea of the tearable shirt but the velcro is bulky and takes alot away from the visual. Imo.

I still say that they need to make a rubber accessory that fits over the figure and looks like a shirt being torn. They can even make it to where his hands can grab onto it. A shirt with a big ‘ol strip of velcro down the center looks nothing at all like when Hogan tore his shirts. They tried this with the defining moments, it looked terrible. I much prefer the shirts without the Velcro but there must be a better way of engineering a soft goods shirt that is already ripped and can be held by his hands.

I prefer the soft goods shirts by far. But every now and then, the plastic shirts look ok. Here’s my Defining Moments shirt from one of my posts: [/quote]

No, I don’t mean a plastic shirt that’s split down the middle. I’m talking about a rubber accessory that fits over the figure and the hands can grip onto that looks like a shirt being stretched to the max. Basically, a piece that’s essentially just the shirt from Jakk’s Unmatched Fury - exactly shaped how it is here.

it was fine the first few times, then it was on EVERY figure and became a nuisance, now it seems like some are not going to have it and I welcome that change
at least most of them have been soft goods, the one they made with the original DM thats rubberplastic is horrendous

On the subject of Hogan, I just got my three pack and man am I disappointed. My Hulk still rules came with the logo being misplaced and my most anticipated figure in this set came with his eyebrows on his forehead. I feel wrong to complain about this, but it’s annoying.

Agree - if they do a split vest/shirt, they should include a non-split version with it.

I'm not even a Hogan collector and I've long thought the velcro front detracts from the figure. I get the notion of looking like it's tearing but the velcro defeats the purpose because there is no way to make it look like that with the velcro pieces attached.
And the split plastic is just abysmal.
There needs to be another way. A BETTER way.

And about 20% to 30% of the time, the lettering is screwed up because of it. The thing to do is to include one intact shirt and one shirt that is split down the middle. No Velcro necessary. The plastic shirts… They sometimes look ok. But the cloth is so much better. Edited to add: I would be curious to learn if it would cost less to include two cloth shirts compared to one Velcro shirt. The Velcro component, plus the time to add the Velcro to the shirt, is probably on par with the cost of two shirts without Velcro. Of course, I have no idea what I’m talking about when it comes to the price of tea - I mean Velcro - in China. But I bet I’m on target.

As long as it's cloth. I do like how it looks giving the Hogan ripping his tshirt on the figure.
