Petition for a New Winged Eagle Mold

Personally I'd much rather see that Big Gold mold from the Nitro crowdfunder come back. It bugs the hell out of me Flair and Dusty have the wrong version of that belt

I’ll sign that petition. Something’s off with it. It could be better. 

It’s the worst of all the belts and way overdue a refresh. Plates, particularly the main one too think, blurred/merged lack of detail, too yellow.

The quality of figures Mattel have been putting out in the last couple of years in particular, far outweigh the naffness of the belts and I really hope they redress the balance soon.

I don't even care for them anymore since taking the plates off and dremeling/sanding off the pegs and super gluing the now flat plates to leather.

12+ years with same molds should be grounds for new ones to be made.

The belts are too thick in general then you add thick plates the belts just look out of place.

Can Mattel offer "Premium" or "Ultimate" belts along the lines of the 3d printers? I don't see why not as its own thing if it would be too expensive to include with figures? Since ultimate figures are now getting basic titles as well.

Imo this is something that could better utilize the crowd fund.

Why do we have to have entrance stages all the time? Something like premium title belts should be seriously considered for crowd funding.

Maybe a figure to go with said belt in a crowd fund? 5 wrestlers 5 brand new premium titles?

Change up the eras for other crowd fund titles in future. Idk id but a couple of those each tbh.

Mattel’s belts overall are pretty weak. I remember being unimpressed when I first got into the line and my opinion hasn’t really changed since. I am more partial to Jakks RA belts.

i had used a scroll saw blade to improve on the design. those spots annoy the hell out of me.





i even went a step further and used the blade to make a custom hardcore title




that being said i agree. admittedly, i am kindofa a corksniffer at this point being spoiled by purchasing a few Forbiddenfigures championships, but mattel REALLY needs to up their game. they are using age old molds and with the world of 3D printing, hobbyists are KILLING IT compared to a billion dollar company!

I agree completely. I'm pretty laid back in terms of being a stickler for minor details etc, but I truly think we need a new mold for this one. Entirely too wide middle plate. Its been the same release since it debuted so I think its time for another swing at this one. The Jakks Classic Deluxe version is better than this one in terms of the look of the main plate. But I'm not a fan of the old style "zip" straps that Jakks gave us. Hopefully Mattel will get around to a new one.

Third party sellers/hobbyists aren’t mass producing these. They’re custom made and individually hand painted.

If you need completely lifelike titles for your action figures, look into those custom titles. Mattel make toys.

That does make the Winhed eagle look better.

Have you thought about making the hardcore belt using the vac type belt and adding small pieces of duck tape? Your skills seem to be able to pull it off.
