No, the issue was the price point, and if the stages were made a little smaller, the price could have been lower. So y’all complain about figures/rings not being in scale, but you don’t care if stages aren’t in scale just so you can afford it. You do these fundings for things like this, not for something small and out of scale, that’s what Walmart/targets are for. Both crowdfunds for WWE have been month long gripefests. I'm still shocked the first one eventually got pushed past the finish line. I'm not sure what other figure communities are like when it comes to these things if they're anything like this place, but I'm a bit jealous seeing GI Joe, Marvel, MOTU and others blowing by minimums and hitting stretch goals while wrestling fans just bicker.

Haha I don’t either, but I rarely doubt those ppl are anything like the fans here.

It's not about me being able to afford it...I backed it, but not enough people were willing to put down that kind of money. You have to deal with the reality of the marketplace. There's something in between a perfectly scaled model and a cheap Walmart toy. Something in the $200-$300 range. I'm sure people would rather have that than nothing at all.

People are gonna cope and whine about that Nitro stage forever I guess lol. Despite the numerous and obvious flaws that have been pointed out to death, some people still can't understand why it wasn't funded SMH.
My biggest want out of the reveals is a change in mainline packaging. The current box is horrendous and has actively caused me not to purchase figures I otherwise would have snapped up in a heart beat. Other than that more New Gen deep dives like Justin Hawk Bradshaw, The Roadie, Savio/Kwang, etc. With the rumors of ECW guys being added to the line it also opens the doors for looks like Johnny Polo, Flash Funk, and Aldo Montoya, depending on who signs.

I think people have also complained about the size of the rings too. 18x18 is what most people wanted. Iirc, I believe the WCW stage was also a tad oversized too, but I can’t remember the exact reason why. If someone could chime in, it would be great. I wonder if it would be possible for Mattel to sell the Nitro molds to a third party company? Kind of the like the asr?

Ah, the first round of our biannual 4 days of "they didn't show exactly what I wanted so clearly the reveals suck and the line is dying!" Truly the most wonderful times of the year 😂 “There weren’t any first time in the lines.” “They showed Sandman, Duke the Dumpster, Cyndi Lauper, Horace Hogan, and Lanny Poffo.” “Yeah, I wanted Jeff Jarrett, Owen Hart, Chris Benoit, and Nailz.”

Haven’t we Monday Morning Quaterbacked the Nitro Stage to death by now? Bottom line is that Mattel offered a product and, while there was some interest, the community rejected it.

There's something in between a perfectly scaled model and a cheap Walmart toy. Something in the $200-$300 range. I'm sure people would rather have that than nothing at all. Again, people are on here everyday of the week complaining about stuff not being in scale. Then Mattel does something big in-scale and ppl complain it’s to big. People here just want to cry and complain, it’s lose lose. F a downsized little stage because some ppl here can’t afford a true in-scale stage or it’s too big for their trailer. Now like I said before, these downsized stages can be put up at Walmart and Target for the people who don’t want a true sized stage. Thats my opinion on it I would be very surprised if the the majority of people who collect wrestling figures and passed on the stage because they couldn't afford it.

Not to change the subject from bickering about the Nitro stage, but I'm truly baffled at how Fanatics continues to be one of the most amazing "failing upwards" companies of the last decade or so. I mean they truly offer a rock bottom quality product in every way imaginable and they continue to get these huge partnership deals. Even from a memorabilia standpoint, they're charging 2 or 3 times market value on all that crap, too. It's just astounding stuff. It's like they walked into every league headquarters and went "we drop ship!," and that was all it took. Thankfully at least the NHL still circumvents them with Adidas. Just a trash company.

They take over NHL jerseys next year which frightens me. I don't get how they've done it. They make everything worse. The Patriots used to have a pretty good pro shop web site with great exclusives and sales. All of a sudden a year and a half ago it became a "Fanatics Experience" meaning it just mirrors the main Fanatics site. Such BS.

I have a good number of recent WWE t-shirts that I wear on a regular basis and, of those recent ones, multiples were such bad quality they had to be repaired before they could even be washed the first time to wear. And most of them, in the year or so I've had them, are already falling apart. Compare that with my NWOT Sami Zayn "Never Be The Same" T-Shirt I bought last year and wear all the time, that thing feels like I could strap it to the front of my car and go drive around a trout creek for awhile and, after a good wash, it would still be just fine. The quality of Fanatics merch is just laughable and, frankly, I'm not looking forward to them getting involved with the collectible end of WWE Merch at ALL.

Last year, reveals were at the superstore. Steve, Bill and Rob were all there in person and very happy to have a chat (at least on Thursday).
I’m hoping you don’t need a ticket for just the superstore and we can have access to the Mattel reveals. I only to the superstore for a mini belt and to see Mattel. Don’t want to really have to pay lol.
