I would buy the Bischoff figure if sold separately, but I do not want or need yet another ring at this point. I have way too many as it is. It's a shame, because that is like $40 they lost from me.

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that the mid-March Mattel Creation order date doesn't push back the expected shipping date for Ringside which should be in the next week.

I wonder if they would ever make a modern one with ring post covers and a fake LED screen for the apron.

I wonder if they would ever make a modern one with ring post covers and a fake LED screen for the apron. I'm thinking they may be planning that eventually. Ideally, they should make it a two-in-one Raw and Smackdown ring since the posts would likely have covers like you mentioned.

Will be waiting for a RA Smackdown theme ring. I never watched Nitro so I basically couldn't care less about any WCW figures/extra but I can't believe they never made new ESRs etc. Would love a 04-07 Smackdown Ring. Don't really see the point in Bischoff as an Ultimate as well, easy skip for me.

I'd like the ring itself, but don't really need the figure or the mat or aprons, or ropes and pads for that matter. I just want to frame and planks, support pieces, posts, and steps. I can't justify the price tag for that. It is a cool look, but not something I am interested in as pictured. That's interesting as I only want those parts you don't want. But I'm in the UK so it would probably price me out to ship the ring/Bischoff over here then ship the stuff I don't need back to the US.

Do we have any idea if international shipping will be fixed in creations by then? Have I missed anything?

I am just waiting for my Ringside preorder - looks like "Late February" is out the window now - I just want it here before Wrestlemania weekend.

That bischoff is a pretty cool figure. I imagine a lot of people will be after it on aftermarket

Just a heads up, the Ring is actually cheaper if you order it on Ringside despite being listed as 10 bucks more depending on what state you are in. Ringside for whatever reason doesn’t charge sales Tax, and you get free shipping if you order more That 60 bucks worth of stuff with a SHIPFREE60 coupon.

In theory this set would be a must buy for me but honestly I was underwhelmed and am probably gonna pass. While I like the detail of the ring structure, I want actual WCW scale (i.e. 18x18 scale, slightly smaller than WWE rings), plus I think the Bischoff headscans look a little off too, not bad, but they just didn't quite nail his likeness IMO.
I also want a Nitro announcer booth, with scaffolding, desk, chairs etc, though it would probably work best as a separate product. With another exclusive figure, e.g. Steve Mongo McMichael (with his little dog Pepe!). Throwing in the Nitro ringmats would be the icing on the cake too.
Don't get me wrong I'm glad to see more WCW stuff, and I really hope they can find an alternate way to get us that Nitro stage in future, but this set is just a little half baked for me.

I'm still on the fence with it. The scale is what is putting me off. I may just get it because I doubt we'll ever get the correct scale, right? mats are a must in the future too. If the stage came out 4 or 5 years ago I'd have got it with no hesitation. But with kids now I don't see enough of my money to buy bigger items like that for myself. If its re-done in the future I'm definitely getting it.

Eh, I almost ordered the Nitro ring w/Bischoff yesterday but just couldn't pull the trigger....
I logged in on Mattel Creations and put it in the basket.... then when I went to pay, it seems Mattel doesn't accept PayPal?
I keep a little money in PayPal as "fun money" for stuff like this so I wanted to just use PayPal, but since Mattel doesn't take it I would have had to put it on my credit card and..... I've had a few large life expenses on there lately (car repairs etc) so I'd rather not charge a $150 toy to my credit card.... and.... *ahem.... I just charged $120 for the Monday Night Wars figures + Paul Bearer on the shipper that I finally found.... so adding $270 to my credit card in one week for wrestling stuff just seemed..... too much. Plus we have Walmart Collector Con today! My wallet just can't keep up.
and Yes, I know I can just transfer the PayPal money to my bank and do it that way but it just seemed like too much trouble, and maybe I needed to think this purchase through first....
Ringside accepts PayPal (I think) so I might just order it through them. I have no idea where I'll put the ring anyway so I just need to figure this out.

I’m in the same boat as you when it comes to PayPal/figure spending PayPal worked for me yesterday when I bought the CC Harts
