I always laugh when I see things like "there's gotta be more than 3,000 or 5,000 od these. I've found two, I've seen 17 on ebay and 41 on Facebook groups." Okay.. what about the other few thousand of em? that would be lying to fans of they don't have 5,000 of them or how many of them were promised because they were stolen by eBay sellers trying to make a few hundred bucks |

Yeah, the guys listed in "Australia" who have chases, rares, and exclusives available long beforehand are almost always factory thieves. There's a huge market for such things. In the Doctor Who figure community, one of the easiest, if not most ethical, ways to get custom fodder is to purchase stolen factory rejects from China.
If you want to get into that stuff, that's your choice, just know that if you see a figure listed like that, especially one that's listed as "loose" or "old", it's almost certainly stolen.
