When was Adam Pearce at Survivor Series? Or is this gonna be one of those random figs that don’t fit with the theme of the line like Rude a couple years ago? He is always at survivor series he works as a trainer and producer just messing. He is the Raw general manager so I think it’s just a way to release him. I know GMs or whatever his position is do sometimes appear at the PPV in backstage segments. Wasn’t sure if he ever did. Can’t remember the last time I watched SvS other than the last segment the last couple years due to rumored returns. |

My guess for the Rumble line, which will only be shown in images: CM Punk (2024) Naomi (2024) British Bulldog (1995) Kurt Angle (2006) BAF: Michael Cole (2012) Punk has too much deco to rush into a lineup in less than 12 months. Maybe we get one of his earlier Rumble appearances tho. 2010 SES or 2011 Nexus would be my predictions. I think the Rumble set has hit RSC as early as August (in 2022). I think 2023 was a little later (Oct? I can't remember). It still might be cutting it close to get him in the set for even a flashback, but maybe they were able to make it work. I definitely think Jan 2024 isn't an option at all unless Punk gave them advanced notice when he came back in November (which I doubt he knew at the time what he would be wearing). And if I was Mattel, I wouldn't start spending money on a planned attire for an event that didn't happen yet based off of Punks history (and I'm a fan of his). RR24 Punk will probably be an Ultimate anyways. |

Once enough time passes they're gonna start pumping them out.... except, depending on how long he is out, it's a Cody situation where he showed up and immediately got injured so how many new attires do they have to work with until he comes back? I'm guessing that his injury is going to delay a ton of figures coming out that aren't rereleases or flashbacks because they have next to nothing to work with at this point. So I expect those early figures to be rereleases in the new Vault line, or they will be flashback figures. If they do do an Ultimate, they only have RR to go off of really, so that's what they would be stuck with. Unless they decided to Mattel Creations an ultimate version of SES Punk which, OMG, I can hear the resellers slamming their heads off the floor now. |

Zayn is gonna be the new Randy Orton (pegwarming) To be fair, that his last two Elites have been abysmal. We haven't had a good Sami Elite since 91. But seeing as how the SvS Sami is going to complete a set (because seriously I cannot possibly think of any other Sami it COULD be), I can see it selling really well. If they make Dusty Kevin, however, I could see him as being the slow seller in this set. The Dusty nostalgia is strong with old school collectors, but I don't see a ton of casual fans being interested in an attire style he's worn I think only twice now, and short of people buyling multiples of the Kevin to make other custom figures, I see it being the weakest seller in the set. (Four, personally. My current total of Kevin's wanted from that set right now, if it is '22, is four. One for loose, one for MOC, one for a Payback custom, and one for a street clothes custom.) But that BAF might sell a ton of cases, I know I'm gonna buy a case, and I've seen a lot of people asking for an Adam Pierce figure. The SvS set could be another thing of the full cases selling out multiple preorders in hours which, if they do, I apologize now for the person I will become when it happens a second time with a set featuring both Sami and Kevin. |

RE: Punk, I think the advantage he has over Cody is that they can do re-releases/throwbacks/etc. a bit more easily since his 2011-2013 looks aren't s radically different from now as any of Cody's pre-leaving looks were. As far as new stuff,I think a Survivor Series return Basic is an easy slam dunk (maybe with a chase in one of his promo attires, which would just require different color pants and shirt/deco) and a Royal Rumble Elite. I think he'll definitely get an MC Ultimate, but I could see it being the MITB 2011 look. |
