Just saw this on Facebook group. Tougher than a $2 steak and a great mind for the business that may have been hard to get along with but nonetheless respected.
RIP Ole

I have to say, as I've gotten older, I really came to pity Ole over just how much of a miserable man he was. The guy man a damn good mark on the wrestling business in his career, but it was like he couldn't find the happiness in that.

If Ole could have adapted to the times and moved forward with the wrestling business he would have still had a job and been in love with wrestling. Unfortunately, he couldn't do that, and became bitter and miserable when it came to pro wrestling. With all that being said though...
R.I.P. Ole, you were an icon and left a legacy that can't be filled.

R.I.P. Ole.
Probably one of the most miserable to ever grace the business, but a great mind for it to.

I would've liked to have shaken his hand but by the time I was fully aware of his contributions he was already beyond retired and settling into his age
legend doesn't really capture him. got a massive kick out of his behavior. a malcontent and still yet a dreamer. a man's man.

Will Dusty EVER learn? Never trust Ole Anderson.
I had the chance to meet the original 4 Horsemen in the mid 90s at a convention in NJ. I have a photo of each member. I'll try to find them this weekend. I remember telling Ole "You remind me of my father." He replied "You think I'm your father?!" I laughed & repeated myself a bit louder. He just nodded.
