Isn't that figure so old that it WAS a store exclusive since the WrestleMania elites used to be Target Exclusives? You are correct, that set is arguably the worst elite set of all time. I don’t think WM elites were ever exclusive anywhere. I know RSC and Amazon had this wave. Weird, I've never seen it at any Walmarts and clearly if it had ever been there I would have lol. It may have been a physical retail exclusive to Target. Edit: Upon further investigation, that set was a Target Exclusive. It just sold so poorly online retailers got it and from that set onward the WM elites were no longer exclusive to Target. |

She probably works best in a store exclusive line. Plus it didn’t help that the attire they chose wasn’t one that most people resonate with. And that the BAF series was kind of a boring one that many didn’t feel the need to complete. I mean, if profitability was a measure of true value and quality, BookTok wouldn't exist. Also, as far as the Nicholas figure goes, if you went on most social media platforms when the series was announced, I saw next to nobody saying good things about the Nicholas, with most people across the board saying it was the worst wrestling BAF of all time. By definition, people who buy action figures are the target audience of action figure sales, and out of everyone I saw who bought action figures and had comments about the Nicholas, it was pretty universally panned. I really think the idea that toys nowadays are an impulse purchase by people who don't normally collect action figures is pretty farfetched. Most everyone I've ever seen in the figure aisle at walmart went into the figure aisle because they wanted to be in the figure aisle. It's not like they are selling Elites in the register lines right next to the Snickers and Kit Kats. If you get a WWE figure, especially with today's distribution issues, it's more than likely because you were looking for a WWE figure, and of those people? Yeah, I don't think a ton of them were chomping at the bit for a Nicholas figure. Plus, if you are simply looking at if there are figures on shelves as a concrete indicator of nationwide sales, then in my person experience, Wrestling women's figures are the best selling ones of all time because they sell INSTANTLY at my only retailer. (No really I want to know who in my tiny town is buying all the women's figures before I can get to them, you snatched up all the Nyla's, Chyna's, and Summerslam Liz's but I had no problem finding multiple RA Elites and Ultimates (including multiple Bischoffs), and even CM Punk Supremes. Who are you and let me see the collection YOU have amassed because, dang.) Also, Star Wars The Black Series is the greatest selling action figure line of all time because god knows that every single time I go to the store, it's nothing but empty pegs. |

For one, the '21 wave may have affected the numbers of the current set. Also, the general consumer's probably not all that interested in a Nicholas figure, come on. That figure was smark meme value as much as something like the Gooker. |

Soon 2023 product will come in. Everything is backlogged. At walmarts it is the same but worse as they clearance out far less than target. |

My Walmarts have the opposite problem, where they sell through most WWE figures and the ones sticking around are the Top Picks that are always supposed to be available.
