Bit of fun - If you could create a new line what would it be and who would be in it? Doesn’t have to be realistic just a bit of fun.

Bob backlund with a 70s/80s wwf champ look
I bet the team would do some great write ups on the packaging

I’d do an Ultimate Edition PPV line for the big 4. Complete with box art from the ppv itself (kind of like the 90 Amazon Survivor Series Taker / gooker box art) 1 Ultimate released with each of the elite sets

I’ve noted this before in other threads, but I would love an LJN form factor ongoing line and a Hulk Hogan’s Rock n Wrestling sub-line, with animated style figures. For the LJN style, it could be a great compliment to the already great Big Rubber Guys line from Major Bendies, but including the talent from LJN era that only Mattel has access to: Hogan, Warrior, Hart Foundation, (Rockers) Shawn Michaels, The Bushwhackers, Mr. Perfect, DiBiase, Honky Tonk Man, Studd, Bigelow, Iron Sheik, Dream Team, etc. It can include those who didn’t get LJNs but should have, like Perfect, Bushwhackers and Michaels, as well as updated LJN form factors for those who did.
And for the Rock n Wrestling line, I think most of the talent who were on that cartoon could still be options: Hogan, Andre, Hillbilly Jim(?), Albano, Wendi Richter, Piper, Sheik, Volkoff(?), Studd, Mean Gene(?). They would miss some for sure (Snuka, Moolah, probably others), but could get us enough to do a decent collection.

Similar idea, I'd like to see a bunch of territory era Legends or territory versions of people that went on to wrestle for WWF. Maybe throw in some tag team two packs like they did early in the Legends line. The list of names is endless but if I could put together a dream wave it'd be something along the lines of.

Maybe restart the Hall of Champions line and use that to design and create new belts. The ones they have now are too bulky for the most part. A lot of lesser companies are making way better belts.
First Wave:

Debut Attires/Rookie appearances. It's self explanatory, but it has wrestlers in their first match look or their first match with whatever promotion. Ideally they would dive into the many dead promotions, not just their wwe/nxt debut look.

I liked the WMX Ladder Match two pack they did with Razor and Shawn, maybe iconic matches/rivalries/moments with toned down packaging to make it viable at retail or as an online exclusive.

I really want a wrestlecrap/ out there gimmicks line. Unique neon 90s colors packaging to make it a fun can't miss nostalgic line. I know a few of these have been made by indie toy lines but I want them elite scale and Mattel quality and not costing 40 a piece.

Since the WM Basic line has been in somewhat disarray the last few years and since the Hall of Fame is the same weekend as Mania why not do a HOF basic line but in their HOF attire. I know it’ll be a series of mostly guys in tuxes but they could come with the HOF plaque and a hand with a molded HOF ring. Maybe make it a BAF where you can build the extra large podium.  |
