Over the years there have been some ferocious battles over this title that provided a stepping stone to the Main Event....but which is your favorite? I provided some standouts on the poll but no doubt Ive missed a great entry(or 5) so have at it....
For me its Bret vs Perfect @ Summerslam 91....outstanding.

I would have to be Bret Hart vs Mr. Perfect, I was so invested in Bret's rise in 1991, when he beat him with the clever way he put the sharpshooter on it was so awesome! Plus, Bret took a shot at The Coach and I freaking hated The Coach.
HBK vs Razor, both matches are also fantastic and I watched Orton vs Foley not too long ago and it is the best match of Orton's career and I would easily put it up there as one of Foley's best too. Bulldog vs Bret is a classic, but I do prefer their match at In Your House 5.
I do have a couple I want to mention that are not on the list.
My second favorite IC title would also be a Bret Hart match, him vs Roddy Piper from WrestleMania VIII. I do also have to mention Mr. Perfect vs Texas Tornado from SummerSlam 90. It was a short match, but I was really into the Texas Tornado. He was the first big debut when I started watching wrestling so seeing him beat Mr. Perfect was so awesome, even if his reign was not.

I picked HBK vs. Razor from SummerSlam 95
I just always loved this match. I remember the first time I saw it was on a HBK VHS tape called "Hits from the Heartbreak Kid" that was an hour long tape but they included that match and I loved it!
I also liked that the first BCA wrestling figure was from that event too for HBK with the blue zebra printed wrestling tights.
Bret vs. Mr. Perfect from SummerSlam 91 would be my second pick though.

From the list, Bret vs. Perfect SSL91. The first great match I ever saw. Prior to that, I had only seen the Superstars of Wrestling shows and some SNME's, no PPVs. After that, I'd go with Savage/Steamboat, Bret/Bulldog, HBK/Razor I, HBK/Razor II.
Though, these should have been on the list:
Perfect vs. Chico Santana - SNME, July 1990
Piper vs. Bret - WrestleMania 8
Warrior vs. Rick Rude - Summer Slam 1989
Macho vs. Jake - SNME, December 1986
Rocker Shawn Michaels vs. Mr. Perfect - I forget the VHS it was on, but it was from the summer of 1991
Michaels vs. Jannetty - RAW 1993
Chico and Greg Valentine had some decent matches, but I believe they were all house shows.
Also, I remember Royal Rumble 1991 very well, and I do not remember Beniot vs Jericho on that PPV. Maybe it was a dark match...

As much as I love Bret/Perfect, Jericho/Benoit, Cactus/Orton, etc...if I'm being honest with myself, my favorite IC title match of all time is Gunther vs McIntyre vs Sheamus from Wrestlemania 39. Just state of the art type stuff.

If I could pick one of my favorites that isn't on that list and wasn't on PPV, I'll always recommend HBK/Marty from the May 17, 1993 episode of Raw. It wasn't very long, but they packed a ton of action into it.
