I’m down for some ECW Dudley’s in an elite two pack. This just reminds me that we didn't get the most iconic looks of the Dudleys in their first run back. And that just makes me mad. |

Steiners. Gotta be, right? Headbangers seem like a reasonable choice considering Mosh or Trasher commented under one of the Mattel Revealed posts with the “ 👀 “.
I do have to say though, making Imperium a mattel creations exclusive while releasing Pretty Deadly in the main line elite series is certainly interesting. Seems like Imperium would have done better in the mainline than Pretty Deadly. Nonetheless, I’m glad we are getting both teams as elites!

Honestly, PD are still trying to drag themselves into the realm of "taken seriously". I mean, I get that they are a comedy act, but that goes heavily against them and despite being on the main roster for a long time now (albeit plagued with injuries), they're only starting to feel relevant. Yes, PD faced Sami and Kevin for the tag titles last year, but you will never convince me that that wasn't a nod to it being the month of JUNE. Imperium has been around for what feels like years now, NXT and main roster, and actually has roots in the indies. If they are coming with cloth goods and such, then them being the Elite 2-Pack could be because they expect Imperium to sell MORE than PD. If two random mainline elites don't sell, no big deal. But Imperium is relaunching the subline. That's a sign they are putting a lot of trust in them to actually sell. |
