Hogan had a bit of good/bad tbh I have to agree despite Hogan being one of my least favorite wrestlers. WM 2 was a well-done feud with believable brawl in the cage to cap it off. 5 & 6 were about as good as Hogan matches ever got in the technical sense. 3's match was plodding, but I can't argue that the build wasn't great. Andre was one intimidating heel back then. I loved WM5,6 & 3 tbh. Hogan featured in 3 of the biggest WM main events ever & they was all entertaining for me.

I hate to say it...but I kind of love Hogan Vs Slaughter at WM7. WM7 is such a guilty pleasure event for me. A lot like the 1992 Rumble, its just a perfect snapshot of the era for the WWF. The build for this event was something else and the company was beginning to cool way off, but something about that match...I really like to rewatch it. WWF Champion Sarg had a few sleepers on TV during that time actually. He has a very fun match on SNME against Hacksaw where he is taking some wild bumps for a man of his size and age.

I'm not faulting you for enjoying the match because we all have different tastes, but part of the reason that I was so bored with the WM7 main event was that the program made no sense. Sarge began hating America for....reasons. He decided that he needed to take orders for ....reasons, and those would come from General Adnan because of Iraqi's "great military might." O....K.... The ironic thing is that Sarge's vignettes after SummerSlam ( the "I Want My Country Back" series) retroactively made his heel turn make more sense. He stated that he became so consumed with winning the WWF title, and so angered by the loss of it, that it blinded him to all other things. Thus, he lost his friends, family, and country because of his hubris. Had the WWF built his heel turn on something like Adnan & Mustafa tempting Sarge with ill-gotten wins and a manipulated WWF title shot, the traitor character could have fallen into place more organically.

Hogan vs Sgt was huge but boring at the same time. Its when I compare it to other main events of WM, it ends up at the bottom tbh. Hogan had better main events.

Reigns is only mentioned in that vein because of becoming Tribal Chief. All of these are before that.

I think Sid is the only person who has had multiple Wrestlemania main events and they both suck.

They both aren't that good. They were both cast in the Hogan superface mold. One stuck to the Hulkamania phase, the other advanced into the Hollywood phase.

WM13 Sid Vs Taker. WM15 Austin vs Rock. Their WM17 match was way better and the result getting spoiled during the show didn't help things. WM16. Rock, HHH, Mick, Show. Only good point was Vince turning heel. WM18 Jericho vs HHH WM25 Orton Vs HHH WM27 Cena Vs Miz WM29 Cena Vs Rock ll WM31 Reigns Vs Lesnar WM34 Reigns Vs Lesnar WM37 Bryan Vs Edge Vs Reigns WM38 Reigns Vs Lesnar I loved Austin vs Rock WM15 & HHH/Rock/Foley/Big Show WM16. Reigns vs Lesnar WM31 was underrated, great match. Reigns vs Edge vs Bryan WM37 was also great for me. I agree with everything else tho. All trash lol.

St. Slaughter vs Hulk Hogan and the Miz vs John Cena Both for basically the same reason Because both Slaughter and Miz were Iraqi sympathizers who turned their back on the USA and joined forces with Gen. Adnan?! Nailed it

I know the Hogan vs Sid match was not great, but it gets a pass from me due to the awesome entrance, the way Hogan went at Sid and his entrance music was still playing was awesome. I am not even a big Hogan guy, but that is one of my favorite WrestleMania entrances, plus the return of Warrior and the posedown at the end make me give this match a pass. Randy Orton vs Triple H flat out sucked, I am about as far from a Randy Orton fan as you can get, I feel that most of the time when he is in the main event match, he fails to deliver an exciting performance, but this was an off night for both guys. The build up to this was fun, I like Orton as a character when he is a heel and this match should have been a pure fight bloodbath type thing, not the snooze fest that we got. I hated Hogan vs Sid but loved Warriors return. Orton vs HHH sucked lol. Orton vs HHH should have been a Street Fight.
