I hated when HBK switched to wearing tights that looked like he was wearing his entrance chaps. Hahaa I remember everyone hated it It’s the reason I pass on most post WM21 HBK figures

Remember being gutted when Michaels came out in the baggy tights. I hoped and prayed it was only a one off. I was cool seeing two 1st time World Champions crowned that night. Nobody liked HBKs new attire lol I remember before the bell rang I couldn't understand why he wasn't taking off his chaps, then it became clear that it was a new attire. My heart literally sank and I prayed that it was a one off attire.

My heart literally sank and I prayed that it was a one off attire. His old stuff was much better. Classic HBK. I loved his run from 05-2010 but it's just the new gear that looked & felt odd lol.

One of my favourite Wrestlemanias. WWE really embraced the Hollywood theme, a lot more than 39 too. This was a Wrestlemania that set up the WWE for several years to come.
Hogan saving Eugene is easily in my top five Wrestlemania moments. JBL had an awesome entrance with his police escort. Motorhead were cool but Lemmy sounded like a Joe Biden speech. Two massive classics in Michaels / Angle and Taker / Orton. The main events didn't deliver but looking at who was involved, it wasn't exactly surprising.

I would say a top ten Mania. Its one of the most important in history as Cena & Batista both won their 1st World Title and became true main eventers and mega stars moving forward.Had the 1st ever MITB match which nearly twenty years later is still a thing and device to try and establish talents and lastly a classic match up between Angle/HBK(really good match but still think a little overrated honestly liked their rematch better Vengeance that same year)

WM21 was very important with Cena & Batista winning the belts, plus the first ever MITB Ladder match. Overall it was a very great show.

One of my favorites. Great Eddie/Rey and MITB ladder matches, Orton/Taker is good, HHH/Batista is underrated, and Angle/HBK is an all timer banger. The only matches I really didn’t care for are Cena/JBL, Big Show/Akebono, and the woman’s title match.
Also crazy that they couldn’t find a spot for Booker T on the card and that he got stuck on the pre-show.

Definitely weird period in the RA post WM XX. Which WM XX in my eyes was kind of the end of the first part of the RA imo. You lost Lesnar and Goldberg; roster shrunk a little. You don’t really got top babyface. 2004 post Mania seemed like a rough spot.
This Mania begins the real second half of the era with defining its big players. Batista , Edge, Orton to lesser extent, Cena. This was a needed and important mania. Not some of the best matches. But it’s a needed show. Beautiful presentation and the 2000s manias always made these shows feel huge. WM 17-24 all definitely made these shows feel larger than life. Something I think manias kind of lost.
HBK- Angle was good but I stand with everyone it’s a little overhyped. And kinda flat to what it’s made out to be. But the og promio video package for these made that match a big fight feel. Batista and HHH would have better showings as would Cena/JBL. Loved that MTIB. Rey and Eddie was enjoyable but never cared for how ridiculous this feud would get after. Orton and Taker was real good; and a great program. Kinda shocked these two didn’t feud again before the streak ended. I think taker really helped orton progress as character.
This show deserves respect and recognition for its impact

I’d have just thrown him in MITB and said Teddy Long was able to secure one Smackdown guy for the inaugural match.
