I would certainly put Chris Jericho in my top ten of all time, he would be closer to the end of the list, but he would be on it for sure. I only saw a tiny bit of him in ECW after it happened, but he was one of my favorite parts of WCW during the Nitro era. He was one of the most entertaining guys on the roster and out of the lower card/cruiserweight guys, for me he was by far the best. When he came to the WWF, I was all in on Y2J and felt that he was even more fun, his stuff on the mic was great and he was always delivering fun and entertaining matches. When his first WWF VHS came out, I was so excited to get that, I remember going into those music/entertainment store in Scotland called Coda (or it may have been Koda) every day for like two weeks straight to see if they had it in stock.
When he "won" the title from Triple H on RAW, that was insane and one of the few times I remember jumping off my chair and going wild. It was such a great moment and the pop was huge, such a shame that it got reversed. It is easily one of my top RAW moments of all time. I liked his stuff as a face, but I think when he was the jerk heel he was at his most entertaining, he was never scared to be the butt of the joke or on the losing end of things. Plus, the way he would reinvent himself was always cool, the stuff he did with HBK over the World Title is one of my favorite feuds of all time! The stuff with AJ Styles and KO was also a lot of fun and again a great example of how he managed to stay relevant.
Ok, so do not shoot me here PJ, but I am going to talk a little about his current state. I am digging the throwback to Lion Heart right now, but I do not think people are going to truly appreciate just how great Chris Jericho was until he fully retires. He has never gone away so you have never really had the chance to miss him. It would be interesting to see how the WWE audience who do not watch AEW would react to him if he were to come back now. I think he would get one hell of a pop!
I 100 percent think that he is a hall of famer!
What about you? Any fans of Chris Jericho on here?
Oh, one last story, back in 2008 Chris Jericho was supposed to do a signing during one of the WWE UK tours and I was so pumped to go to it. I do not know the reasoning behind it, but Chris Jericho was pulled from the singing so I said to hell with it, I would not bother going to see his replacement..... turns out the replacement was CM Punk! Man, what I would have given to have actually gone and got something signed by CM Punk!

I've enjoyed him throughout his career. Definitely a great talker, face/heel versatility, excellent in understanding his character or gimmick. Always put on a good performance wherever he was on the card.
And yes, despite all the fat/washout/old fogey jabs made at his expense over the past few years, he'd 156% be welcomed warmly "back home" 🙄

Also, I would not mind one bit if I was as "fat" as Chris Jericho is when I am in my 50s!

Never been a big fan of his. He was a very good wrestler/worker, but something about him never worked for me. I think he definitely stood out back in the late 90s WCW because pretty much all of the other cruiserweight guys had no character/charisma - Jericho at least had that and more. Jericho was really good on the mic, and I think that helped him out immensely. He had a good run early on in the WWF, again helped out by his ability to speak on the mic, but I always felt he was a step behind the tops stars in the company: Austin, the Rock, Taker, HHH, Kurt Angle, etc. He never really felt like a main event guy, to me, when those guys were around. He was best as a chicken crapheel, but he did well as a babyface at times. His ability to go away for a bit then return, and his willingness to update/change his gimmick has helped his longevity. With that being said, I am definitely not a fan of his AEW run. Too many wrestlers in AEW make wrestling look ridiculous, and Jericho is one of them. They often go slow and take it easy when it comes to basic stuff like punches, kicks, reverses, running into the turn buckle or ropes, but then they go all out on the ridiculous stuff with chairs, ladders, tables, cages, and other hardcore stuff. Too many times during this run I've rolled my eyes at the wrestling.
He'll make the hall of fame when his time comes.

I kinda dug him during his 2012 run (this was around the time I started watching) but honestly anything post 2013 Jericho has been garbage to me. So, not really, no. And his off-screen antics and opinions has made it real easy to not be a fan.

I was in fact a Jericholic!!
Loved him in SMW, loved him in ECW, loved everything he did in WCW, loved his WWF run too until he left in 2005.
After that, I still liked Jericho, but I wouldn't say I was hardcore into him, but to be fair, everything from 2007 - currently I am not hardcore about when it comes to WWE.
I know from 2007 - 2011 my 3 favourite wrestlers were Jericho, HBK and Edge. So when HBK retired and Edge retired I only had Jericho left to enjoy. And Jericho wasn't bringing in title runs either during that time (except those 2 US Title reigns a few years back) and so it was hard to dig him.
But 1994 from the first time I saw him wrestle to 2005, I was a hardcore Jericho fan!

I was always a fan of Jericho’s. Especially in WCW. We still need a Monday Nitro Jericho with his list of 1004 holds in figure form. While I still liked him I never got used to his trunks phase. It was just odd to me. Just like Warrior in singlets, HBK in his chaps looking pants and Macho in the long tights & cowboy hats. I never cared for any of those attire changes.

Loved him from 98/05.
Didn't enjoy his second stint. The short hair and trunks didn't do it for me. He felt as generic as hell as didn't look like Jericho anymore.
Since joining AEW he feels like a star again and his music is awesome, by the end of his WWE stint it was beyond tiring.

Growing up, Chris Jericho was my number 2 behind Austin. Massive fan of his work. Lost my mind when he finally won the big one. Lost it again when he returned in 2007. Like the guy could do no wrong to young me.
Then I grew up and realized he tarnished how I viewed him by just being all around unbearable. I avoid watching him. I ignore everything that comes out of his mouth. Ride into the sunset or something bozo.

Was a fan, but he isn't a top ten guy for me.
From 98 -01 I really enjoyed him & I was rooting for him hard when he came to WWF in 99 because you just knew it wasn't going so well.
His early heel run in 02 was garbage because he was booked into oblivion. Enjoyed him again then from mid 02 to 05.
His return in 07 onwards had some great stuff but I found it hit & miss.
Def a hall of famer

absolutely, Jericho is a must have in any dream roster.
highly entertaining, great athlete, I love the fact that he turned his gimmick into real life....
however I have lost respect for him lately, imo he is our generation's Flair, lots of controversy left to be exposed and had yet.
but the reason I don't like him as much now is because he legit became the very same thing he talked about in all those dvd's about WCW and their 'dinosaurs' and stealing spot lights, the same crap he said about WCW he is saying about WWE, for some reason he feels like he has to remain relevant instead of letting us do that.
none the less! top 3 Canadian wrestlers ever

I loved him so much as a kid when he was a face from 2000-2001. So entertaining. Then I didn't get his character after he turned heel and had the Undisputed run. Just made me really dislike the turn and couldn't get behind him as heels weren't really my thing.
I didn't get to watch much from 2004-2005 but his face turn was quite lacking IMO. Didn't have the same attitude that made me and everyone a fan from years before. Felt watered down. Then in 2007 when he returned it was like "YAY!.....Oh.... what is this?". He just wasn't it upon his return. His subsequent heel turn in 2008 may have been well-needed and great character work. But again, I just couldn't get behind it and appreciate it.
The most entertaining afterwards was the List of Jericho, f'n fantastic work. Everything after that I've been out of the loop.
But watching stuff from WCW until 2000 - I've got to see his body of work and it is fantastic. His work as a heel was amazing. So beyond what others were doing. His face work in WWF was a breath of fresh air.

But in response to the above saying he's become like Flair, Hogan etc....and holding on to the spotlight? Ridiculous thing to say.
He established the main event scene in AEW in 2019. There wasn't enough guys to do that with and give the rub to the up and coming. Then he built factions to surround himself with guys to elevate. Mission accomplished (Sammy Guevara, MJF....). Now he's still working with young talent.
Is he main eventing ppvs? Is he dictating the title scene? Is he holding talent down? Is he constantly winning?
He is in no way comparable to Hogan and can only be compared to Flair's late run in WWE.
Get real.
