This run was fantastic. It was such an enjoyable change from the typical face Rock pandering to the audience. His face Shtick had gotten old and played out. Seeing him as a heel, and leaning in to those type of tactics,….something we hadn’t seen in decades. People had been saying for years that they hate PG, they wanted more violence, they wanted blood,…..WWE delivered.
I personally really enjoyed this whole road to wrestlemania with Cody vs. the Bloodline, and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens when Rock comes back and discovering what he gave Cody.

I feel creatively they're really onto something and have been telling a story viewers find compelling, I just personally have a hard time being drawn into the over production that is seen in modern day WWE. feels far more like watching a movie than watching wrestling.

Making Dwayne the final peak for Cody to scale can be the best of a bad position. Granted it should be necessary for the crybabies to calmly and rationally explain why Rock wasn't worthy of working 1 main event, but is now able to work multiples. But who are we kidding? Rock-Reigns is still likely the big money match WWE wants, while Rhodes will work months long programs against scrubs, do a 🇺🇸🦃🇺🇲 storyline with fka WALTER, and be cashed in on by Austin Theory or Logan Paul in no time.  |

Amazing, im so glad he got away from that baby face persona he has had since each time he returns. He was always at his best with a heelish spin on any of his personas.

I wanna see a few more singles matches tbh Wouldn't mind that either man WM40 proved that Rocky can still go!! Nearly an hour in the main event...what a performance. Rock vs Reigns, Rhodes, Rollins, Orton...I'd love for all of that to happen. |
