So, I got off relatively cheap this WM.
1. Elite Real American is a definite. I’m more stoked for this Hogan than any I’ve seen in a while.
2. Elite Legends Hulk 🇺🇸 Hogan is a “probably.” I like the new face scan overall, the new bandana looks nice, and the new shirt is not bad. Even though it’s yellow again, I like that it’s different. I don’t like that it’s Velcro-split, nor the two horrible lines of stitching that ruins the front image.
3. The Python Power Basic is kinda lame, but we’ll see if I succumb to the allure of a new bandana.
4. The Elite Greatest Hits 4 remains to be seen.
I think that’s it…?

Catching up: -Pipe Bomb Punk is pretty much exactly what I was hoping for. -Bret Punk as a Main Event Basic again is annoying. -I was at the MSG show, so it’s hard for me to be objective about that Ounk figure. Also, did the MC figure go up ? yes did you check the website Not yet. Kind of having a bit of of a stressful day atm and only checking my phone in spurts. |

I give this showing a solid B, just like trockhound34
The Good:
-The Great Muta is a huge addition to the line!
-Wrestler Gorilla Monsoon and NWA Harley Race are nice, too + the new belts they come with!
-Jeans DDP + Curt Hennig are big pluses for the MNW line.
-Brother Love retro gives me hope that retros will survive
The Bad:
-No Steiners! Awaiting word on if it's a delay or if they are outright off the books.
-And for me personally, still no Mountie or Nailz (I know we'll never get them so my hopes are in vain.)
-The Great Muta is the only new character shown that I have any interest in. This is the real reason I give the show a B.
-Only one new retro shown; what's up with that??

Thankfully hogan with a guitar and hogan with a shirt he never wore were revealed to soften the blow for all the Mattel Americans

After so many “Defining Moments” figures that fit the line’s name verrry loosely, Pipebomb CM Punk is one that’s a perfect fit. I’m assuming Money in the Bank 2011 will be a future Ultimate Edition figure as well.
The choice to put out more figures from Punk’s underwhelming Wolverine era is a strange one but I’m sure there are younger fans who have nostalgia for that version.
Good stuff overall!

Super bummed we didn’t get elite or ultimate Hart attire Punk but Pipebomb and all black Punk look excellent. Those and Muta were the highlights of the weekend.

Bad professionalism from the Mattel team to keep this Steiner Brothers speculation continuing. People want an answer if they are still signed or not.
