I wish that SES Punk had chest hair. I would have preferred another Bret Hart attire Punk to have the slicked back hair and Lemmy beard, like when he first wore it.

Although I have to ask, why the hell would they make the bland all black attire an Elite, and make the much more colorful Rumble 2024 attire as a Basic? I feel it should’ve been the opposite, but what do I know right? They didn’t show a Royal Rumble 2024 Punk… Survivor Series return, MSG return, Pipebomb, Hart tribute, Royal Rumble 2010… and I think WrestleMania 28 (looks like it) Oh, and whatever his Elite 29 was based off of. That was on me. I got one of the Basic attires mixed up with the Rumble attire, as I only quickly glanced at the pics while I was at work. I edited my original post though. |

I really wish they would have destroyed that mold for the Punk head used in the 2 pack with Orton...that was one of the worst scans Mattel has done.

Ok, that’s what threw me off. The lack of white outline of the stars and chest hair made me think it was an ECW Punk with the Straight Edge Society beard. But they just pulled a Jakks and left out detail on the gear. |

I’m disappointed that Punk’s first elite in 10 years will be in all black gear he borrowed because he lost his luggage or his gear wasn’t ready in time or whatever. There’s only like a 1 month difference between that MSG show and the Royal Rumble. And now he’s injured so we gotta wait even longer before we see him in ring gear again. It just feels like we’ll get an Ultimate in Royal Rumble gear and no elite. And I personally don’t like Ultimates that much, especially since they added those annoying drop down hips.
Edit: I’m being overly negative. I’d rather they make MSG Punk than nothing. And we’ll likely get Rumble Punk anyway because he sells like crazy and he’s out injured for a while.

Personally I love that we are getting the Punk in Cody’s plain black trunks Elite. His first match in the company in almost a decade. It’s a big moment, regardless of what he wore.
