Going through damaged packaging I found a Dominic Mysterio where not only is the box damaged it's says it's missing the shirt my question is how and why are they choosing to sell it still at such a marked up price.

Cousin paul us3d to just knock a dollar off if the box was damaged as well. For us the box condition is important. For them its the contents in the box that are more important. Look around for the best price.

Economics 101 - supply and demand.
If people buy it at that price, they will sell it at that price.
If it doesn't sell at that price, then they will lower it or eventually send it back to Mattel for credit.
The figure was popular and the retail well is drying up for e105.
Some people don't care about the shirt (I put it on Balor) since it covers up his gear or the box.

I've bought damaged package stuff several times from Ringside. I open most of my stuff so I usually have no care about packaging. Even just to save $2-$3 it's worth it to me as the box just goes in the trash.
I probably wouldn't buy something with missing soft goods, though. But others might. They're telling the buyer up-front so I see no issue here.
Possibly someone returned it without the shirt. What should they do, throw it in the trash? Somebody might still want to buy it.

im mostly a loose collector too and dont often need the shirts so usually id buy stuff like that from ringside and others. anything i can save is greatly appreciated.

Yeah this doesn't really qualify for being a victim. You'll need to try again to start online outrage it appears. I wouldn't be able to collect if it wasn't for Ringside, no time for fig hunts anymore.

It's not marked up for them?
It's literally marked down from the main figure and as a mostly loose collector, I'll buy damaged packaging as often as I can. I save a buck, and it leaves the pristine package ones for people who want them MOC.

They're a garbage company who continues to put influencers before customers probably one of those people needed an extra JD shirt so they removed it to send to them.

Otherwise, I will go Package is damaged, Figure is mint ALL DAY. |
