The Big Rubber Guys are absolutely amazing! They are the closest and best homage we’ve ever had to the original LJNs. But they are limited in wrestler selections available due to Mattel/WWE figure deals. I would love for Mattel to get in on this form factor, create a compliment line to the Big Rubber Guys, to get us people who should have been in the original line: Mr. Perfect, The Bushwhackers, Brother Love, Earthquake, Tugboat, Dusty Rhodes w/ polka dots, Wendi Richter, Mr. T, Zeus, Muhammad Ali, and more; along with redone legends like Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Hart Foundation, DiBiase, and Honky Tonk Man. What do you think? Is there enough interest in this line to take off? Maybe as a Mattel Creations and/or Ringside exclusive?

For me absolutely! I think mattel would do a fantastic job with these. A great compliment to the coliseum collection

I like it when they pay homage to classic figure attires/packaging/accessories etc via modern style figures (Ultimates, Elites, etc). But I have zero interest in actual old figure styles being remade or brought back, whether it's Hasbros, Remcos, LJNs, BendEms, OSFTMs, TTLs, RAs, or anything else. They were good when we didn't have anything better, and of course the memories will always have tremendous meaning, but modern figures have so much better detail, articulation, realism, accessories, everything really, and they're still improving as the years go by, just compare some of Mattel's WWE figures from the early days to what they put out now.
On a side note I would love to see Mattel do some Toybiz WCW homage Ultimates/Elites. Again I'm talking modern figures, just copying the attires, packaging, accessories, etc.

Not really for me. I say this as someone who bought the BRG Randy Savage, but that's more because I'm in for pretty much anything Savage. I loved Hasbros and LJNs in their time, but seeing these form factors today leave me cold. A Dino Bravo figure is cool, but it'd be much cooler to me as an Elite or style similiar to it.

Probably an unpopular opinion but, I'd only be down for an expansive LJN-style line if they cut the size in half to 4 inches.

Nope.
I don’t care for LJNs, so I wouldn’t be a target audience. But to be honest I’m bored of all these gimmicky lines getting highly desired attires and stuff that should be elites/ultimates.
And frankly retros are such a poor imitation of hasbro that I doubt they’d even get the LJN form factor right

Coliseum Collection is perfect to me with homage style packaging and attires, but still modern figures. I’m not a collector of other throwback toy styles, usually loving modern figs on throwback packaging (CC, Marvel Legends, Star Wars black series anniversary line). But as someone who grew up on the LJNs and am finally seeing them done well again with Big Rubber Guys, this is the first retro form factor I really want. Honestly disappointed to see an initially mostly negative response from mega-fans on here. Oh well, there’s always the original LJNs, and Big Rubber Guys- for as long as they can keep it going!

Can’t say I would be. LJNs were my first wrestling figures, and the CC scratches my nostalgic itch. I like being able to walk over to my set up and change poses/heads/hands every now and then to shake the display up. Can’t do that with form factor figures.

As much as I would love for them to, I don't think they'd move all that well. No profitability really. Judging by Mattel Creations, Hogan/Funk are showing no signs of selling out and they have been up for 1 1/2 years, and those are Ultimates as an homage to LJN. Bottom line, I love the idea (LJN is my all time favorite toy line of any toy line period, Star Wars, GI Joe, you-name-it), but I don't see them doing that.

Bill has said in the past that Mattel has almost no interest in doing LJN style because the cases would be too heavy and costly to ship.

I had LJN’s but gave them all to my cousins in the early 90’s so no I don’t need another line to start back up. Although I did pick up a Muraco last month.
