I grew up with these things. They somehow always ended up in the sandbox in the backyard. The only statue-like figures I would be interested would need to be 3 3/4 inches or less. Something like the old Applause PVC minis.

Gotta be perfectly honest...
I didn't like these things back then, and I don't really like them now. They're just so limited. Like small statues. Many of them won't even stand up right.
Of course I did get a few (and I still HAVE a few) for nostalgia purposes, but let's be honest.... these were very early, primitive figures. Lacking poseability, detail, and accuracy.
Just because they bring back good memories doesn't make them good figures.
At the risk of being any MORE unpopular - I hated Hasbros, too. I didn't feel I could use them to "play with". And again, I bought a bunch, and I still have them.... because at the time, that's ALL there was. and I've even bought a few RETROS for nostalgia purposes.... but I never thought these were especially good figures.
Just my two cents.

Just my two cents. Back when Hasbros first dropped in the early 90s, I thought they were a huge downgrade from LJNs. I guess I didn't like the short squat proportions compared to the relatively realistically proportioned LJNs. But, since then I've changed my opinion on them and appreciate their stylized look.

I'd be much more interested in a Galoob style line or a bend-ems line than an Ljn line.

They're very niche and appeal to a certain audience. They should make anything that the people want, but I wouldn't touch them. Mattel Creations at best
