Well I think Mattel could/should explore more mini-lines, with cool/unique packaging....

One thing I've thought would be cool is a "Saturday Night's Main Event" line. With that cool SNME Logo, black card.... feature some of those notable Hogan attires (even though we may have seen them before) - heck, maybe even THIS is where you get theman's Hogan w/winged eagle mint-on-card?

With cool packaging like that, you might just see me buy a figure I already have.... I'm a sucker for neato packaging!

Honky Tonk Man
Hulk Hogan (red bandana with Winged Eagle around waist, mint on card)
Hulk Hogan (is THIS where you put the "sweaty, slicked wet haired post-match hot dog Hogan)?

Jesse "The Body" Ventura (if hell freezes over and they ever get him back on a Legends contract)

They could also explore the various Wrestlemanias and have PPV-themed packaging:

Wrestlemania 7 (Sgt. Slaughter, Undertaker, Big Boss Man, Hogan, Virgil)....

Wrestlemania 8 (Roddy Piper, Bret Hart, Psycho Sid, Hogan, Ric Flair, Macho Man).....

Wrestlemania 9 (Hogan, Yokozuna, Narcissist Lex Luger, Doink, CRUSH, Tatanka)

You could release past Hogans this way with cool/unique packaging and they'd still feel fresh.

There are endless ways they could add TV show or PPV Event themed packaging, and basically re-release old figures (or with slight color modifications to match their specific event-attires).

You wanna go further/deeper? Could even try some WCW PPV themed mini-lines..... Great American Bash, Bash at the Beach, Starrcade, etc. With packaging and figure-attires reminiscent of the actual events.

It makes me proud with tears that so many of you guys are asking for 91 Hulk Hogan With The Winged Eagle Around His Waist Mint On Card!! Thanks guys!! The truth of the matter is..Hogan is ALWAYS going to be relevant. He's just like Cena, Undertaker, Bret Hart and Macho. His millions of fans will always scoop up just about every Hogan figure with perhaps the exception of the really deep cuts ( like the two recent legend figures) that are before the red and yellow and black and white.

I really love the Saturday nights main event line possibility. I would love to see packaging similar to the no holds barred set that has a background and other elements to it. Imagine hogan behind a section of blue steel cage like so many of his snme promos. The shiny lavender curtain behind heels or silver for faces or even a locker room backdrop. Heels interviewed by Jesse. Hogan interviewed by mean gene. Maybe one day a vince/ Jesse two pack.

Someone like hogan I prefer the more unexpected looks.

We can debate what shirt or bandana etc he needs but let’s face it - if you go hulkamania he’s always red and yellow and it’s boring.

Same as how I loved the blue hart foundation cos it was different. I’d love to see a young trunks stampede era bret too and a survivor series 93 bret.

Stunning Steve was much better than another austin with black trunks and black boots.

Taker, warrior, savage etc have many different looks but hogan not so much apart from the shirt which he didn’t even wrestle in. Let Mattel have fun and get creative and try different looks.

I’d even go a step further and let them have real fun, almost in the vein of marvels ‘what if’ series. What if luger had joined million dollar corporation and have a million dollar corporation inspired luger, what if ddp had joined the nwo and have an nwo ddp etc. have real fun with the line

He’s Hulk Hogan you don’t have to do anything he’ll always sell. I have never seen him pegwarm or even come close to pegwarming.
